Coconut water once in the day 3x a week only
Lots of regular water
Occasional: (very occasional) full cream/fat coffee or latte once a week or none at all
Occasional: (very occasional) red wine once a month or none at all

Breakfast: cereal and milk everyday

Lunch ideas: subway 6 inch sub on wholewheat with cheese, avocado and lots of veggie
With a Premade protein smoothie

Or small baked potatoe with full fat sour cream and a salad including avocado and tomatoes lots of green

Or soup and bagel with cream cheese
With possible premade protein smoothie or drink

Nuts everyday
1-2tbsp of peanut butter 3-4x a week

Sups:
DW:
-Materna prental multivitamin (contains 1mg folic acid) everyday
-palafer prenatal iron (contains 0.5 mg folic acid) everyday
-omega 3 fish oil daily
-probiotic 3x a week
-vitamin D 1000-1200 total

DH:
Men's 50+ multi
Vitamins D 1000-1200 IU
1000 mg omega 3
enzyme Q10 200mg (unsure on this amount)
L-arginine (unsure amount)
Probiotic daily

Exercise:
Cardio 2 times a week
Weights 3-4 times a week
Outdoor walks with fresh air and sunshine

BD:
Start hubby on release every 2-4 days 3 months before blue sway attempt- maintain it as much as we can

Protection: sorry if TMI but use the pullout method or spermicide free condoms until we are ready for sway attempt month

Sway month: **could use some advice here**
I'm torn between BD unprotected every 2-4 days after AF for sperm exposure OR BD/release every 2-4 days protected and then make sure the unprotected attempts are night of positive OPK, day and night after, and a few more to get some extra in.

This sounds exactly like me. I finally decided to go for unprotected BD because of the general consensus that exposure to sperm sways blue and DH.

As per the rest of your sway, sounds great. I did just the same, except exercise wise, I have cut out aerobics. I strength train every other day, alternating with yoga and take long walks frequently.

Awesome !!!! Yea the BD part seems the hardest to figure out !! How long have you been swaying and any luck with a BFP yet?

Looking good, a couple of the lunch choices are a little low protein if you could sneak in something like eggs or dairy

Are you taking 2 prenatals or is one just iron and folate?

200 mg coq for DH is fine

50-100 mg arginine is fine (only if he doesn't have herpes or cold sores though as it can make those flare)

Either way on the BD. I will say that many of us with all boys, myself included, do have regular unprotected sex in our infertile periods (so after AF thru a few days before O, and then after O as well) But you need to follow your heart and have the sway that YOU PERSONALLY want to have and will feel good about!

My first month swaying. I started the HE diet in September. So I had about 6 weeks before my attempt. Positive OPK was on Wednesday night. So we DTD early Thursday morning, Thursday evening and Friday morning. Poor DH was worn out.

If we get +opk at night do we wait till next morning before dtd? I thought it was Dtd at +opk, the next morning and next night? Mind you if we got +opk in the morning would that mean dtd that morning, that evening and next morning ?? I’m confusing myself lol

I think the ideal would be BD the night of positive OPK but we were exhausted. And the positive OPK was late at night anyway.

When I'm getting close to O I use a opk with fmu and then do another one around 2-5pm- so unless one of those was positive I wouldn't find out until I test again with FMU.

I think atomic would have the best advice on what to do with a night time positive! I think
BD that night and then BD the next morning and night, plus one more BD the next day.

night of positive OPK, again the next morning (O Day) and again the following night (O Day)

But this is not set in stone, however it works out it's usually all good

Thank you tali.kah, I’m glad to hear someone testing with fmu, I was advised to not use flu to test ovulation but Fmu suits me to do before I head to work. I guess a wee test morning afternoon and evening wouldn’t hurt

It doesn't - this was just my realistic plan and I thought I would write in that if I do have any alcohol it'll just be an occasional red wine. I think no alcohol at all is better.

Thanks Atomic!!!
I'm vegetarian and don't eat eggs so I'll try and bulk up the lunches with more dairy!

It's just one prenatal- the materna is the multivitamin and contains 1mg folic, the other is strictly a iron pill but it just happens to also contain 0.5mg folic. So in total I'll be at 1.5mg or 1500mcg. Should I throw in a 3rd addition of folic- like a midday pill containing 0.5? So my totals are 2000mcg?

It's so hard to decide on the BD protected or not- in my mind I know the unprotected BD is the way Togo- it just scares me !!!!

No problem! It also depends on your test brand- I used clear blue advanced and with those you only test FMU once a day. The ones I use to test 2 times a day are ordered from amazon- a bunch of bulk cheap OPK sticks! You don't feel bad wasting them. There's many brands on amazon and some only ship to specific countries - just be sure to read the reviews :)

You can, you don't have to, whichever works better for you for the sake of convenience!

It depends on the brand you use. Some are calibrated for FMU. Others are going to give you better results being used after lunch because that is when the hormone in the urine peaks. So testing at the wrong time of day may mean that window of opportunity for your attempt is 12-24 hours narrower than it has to be - let's say you test Monday am and it's negative, then you surge Monday afternoon but you don't test then. Takes you all the way till Tues. to detect that surge!
