Hi ladies! I'm writing this from recovery, so if I don't make sense, y'all get it [emoji23]
I stimmed nine days total, with 200 of Gonal-f and 20 of lo-dose HCG. They started me on Cetrotide on day 5.
I triggered with 80 Lupron and 15 HCG on Monday morning at midnight, and had my ER at noon today!!!
30 eggs retrieved at the age of 37!! I'm so cautiously optimistic!!!
I can't believe my baby girl will () be here on Earth with us later today (as a cluster of cells, but herself nonetheless).
Good luck to all of us on this journey!!
It was honestly a million times easier than I could've dreamt!

The time it takes for results varies depending on your clinic. A lot of the clinics in California and New York can have 24 hour or less turnaround times but most places in the US are a week or two.

I got AF today, so my FET cycle has officially begun!
I was really bummed to hear that it'll be six weeks from now until they put my girly back :( I thought it was six weeks after the retrieval.

They said six to ten days. They're only closed on Sunday most weeks, but they have Thanksgiving off this week.
Im guessing that this coming Monday will be the day 🤞

Did your DH take olive leaf extract?
Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando TapatalkNo, he took male vitamins (Rainbow Life), Juice Plus, Omegas, and CoQ10. I didn't try to sway his sperm at all, just wanted them healthy :)

Love this post.
We are doing the ivf pgs route starting in Jan if we haven't conceived by then.
I've stopped the LE diet and started to take vitamins.
I hope and pray we get the same results as you!
Did you find the egg retrieval process painful? It's the part I am most nervous about.

Robin, not at all!! I felt fine right after, however I was constipated for a couple of weeks.... take the Miralax way before the retrieval. I didn't listen, and man did i regret it

Had my mock xfer today, and they found a uterine polyp. I have to have it removed next week, delaying our transfer to early January.
Boooooooooooo (but I'm glad they found it!)
Im back on bc.. supposed to start Lupron on Friday, but that's delayed until after surgery

My doctor wants to hold off on everything and do AI testing. He is testing me for everything since I have really thinning hair, constant fatigue, eczema that won't be managed (facial and scalp dermatitis). I also had two miscarriages between #2 and #3, which he has no way of knowing were related to any AI issue, or genetics (I know the first was molar, so obviously genetic).
He said results take 3-4 weeks. I asked to go on BC during the wait so that he can pull me off to cycle again once the results are in.
Is it normal to feel absolutely awful and deflated after a BFN? I know I have a couple more shots (God willing, as long as they dethaw properly), but I feel crushed and hopeless right now.
Has anyone had to take a break for testing then resumed? What was your result/ eventual outcome?

Most of us that have experienced an ivf miscarriage or bfn take several months off before transferring or cycling again. Between my first and second transfer I waited 3 months. I miscarried after my second transfer and waited for 9 months before transferring again. I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant following that transfer.
Hang in there. Unfortunately it is not a quick and easy process for a lot of us.

And it is completely normal to feel terrible after a bfn. You are hormonal and have a lot invested in this. I think most of us go into this process thinking that it is a lot easier to handle emotionally than it actually is. The highs are high and the lows are very low.

Thank you for your replies, ladies. I appreciate the real insight and I am truly sorry to anyone who has had a BFN or failed IVF cycle. Much love!

After my pgs miscarriage I had lots of tests done and I discovered I have a clotting disorder. So next time I’m going with clexane. Sometimes you need a break to know what’s going on. I had to cycle all over again...
