Hi friends.

I could use a wee bit of a confidence boost.

Here are my stats.

36 (March birthday)

3 kids 7,5, and just turned 3

I have had a steady 2 year gap with all 3 kids and I was really wanting to enjoy some extra time after my most recent child to enjoy her being "the baby"

Alas, now I am worried from what I am reading online about the decline in fertility. And my cycles are wonky 34-45 day cycles though mostly under 40 days. (am I just reading typical Dr Google worst case scenario stuff?)

I would really like to have 2 more children.

We have loosly tried the last 2 cycles, and I do mean loosly. This past cycle fertility friend ranked me at "low" for timing success (the kids were really hindering the attempts haha)

I find myself caring less about gender and more about just getting pregnant.

Are there any studies showing that age spacing having any effect on how long it might take to conceive after 35? I feel like 3 years was a long time for me to wait now looking back. hindsight and all.

Anyhoo. Thanks for the feedback. <3

Yes, you're overthinking this.

36 is nothing. we have people on here myself included who have had numerous kids 37+. I had a child at 37, 39, and 42 with no trouble at all.

it takes fully fertile people doing nothing to sway 3-6 months to fall pregnant so 2 months, one of which was poor timing is nothing to worry about at all.

proven fertility helps a LOT and you have proven your fertility!

It is so hard to explain this to people but in a few years, when you're 42, or (ahem) 48...you will look back and realize how much time you really had back then!! I worried SOOO much about my age when I was 36 and TTC #3 but then I went on to get pregnant easily 3 more times after that!! Don't let it mess with your head!

Good luck to all!
