For the past two months .. when I start to notice lots of cervical mucus I test ovulation and get negative .. I keep testing for 3-4 days and it’s still negative .. then mucus stops and then I test and I get a +OPK ? And it’s usually on day 16? ... I did not get pregnant so I am wondering what’s up with that ?

CM is not a reliable way to tell when you are ovulating. You can have CM before, during or even after you O. If you are getting a +opk go by that.

Sorry to jump on this!
I never have egg white CM and have used OPKs for 3 months (everyday) and all are BFN!
I am sure I am not ovulating at all - anyone else have this?? Thanks in advance

If opks aren’t working for you, you can BD (have sex) every 4 days (E4D) from when AF ends until at least CD22. It works out to only be one viable attempt in your fertile window. These attempts are unprotected.

Just a quick one, how do i get notifications that people have replied? I'm so rubbish haha

If you're getting AF, you're ovulating 95% of the time.
Some people just have a tough time getting OPK to work.
In that case for pink do like XX mentions and BD every 4 days

Well, BD EOD is ok if you want a boy or don't care about gender but for a girl we get better results BD every 4 days.
What I do, and I think this is easiest, is go to the top of the page where it says "my posts" (there's a button, you'll see it) and click it and then you can access all the posts you made and it's really just an easy way to track if you got any answers. :) HTH

It's really normal to have that pattern of EWCM for a few days and then dries up and then after that you ovulate.
Your body doesn't "understand" that we have showers now LOL so back in the day that EWCM was good enough. :)
