Hi ladies, i have a question that im sure has been asked before but i cant find it!! Im on my 3rd round of 50mg clomid swaying for a baby girl [emoji179]. I have found that it has dried me up so much that i have hardly any ewcm atall. I think this is why i actually havent even fallen yet. Without clomid I normally have so much its grose. Is there any thing that i can use to help the swimmers along without jeopardizing my girl sway. We have also been doing the one attempt at positive opk. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I would use a little lube, maybe pre-seed since that's more sperm friendly. Normally pink swayers use something like KY but it's not exactly swimmer friendly and since you're already on your third round of clomid, it's probably best to use something that won't work against you. How long have you been swaying? It might be time to think about trying E4D plus one attempt at positive OPK.

Yep i think ill go back to every 4 days. I was trying to follow the baby dust method, 1 attempt at possitive opk. Im going to chart my temp too this cycle as i always get ovulation pain but this cycle i had that 24hrs after possitive opk but if you go by when i got my period at 14 days after ovulation then i ovulated 2 days after the pain. Sorry hope this isn't too confusing.

Small amounts of any sperm safe or conception friendly lube and/or guaifenesin. You may want to add one one month, one next month, if needed.
You need to be doing e4d plus one more attempt at pos OPK the next two months.

LOL that is not the "Babydust" method, they stole that from us.
Just so people are aware.
I like you guys to try the first month only on Clomid doing one attempt. After that it's time to start adding attempts and we need for you to do that now. Clomid is the best of the best sway that there is and so what it's good to do is get pregnant while using it, instead of going on and on swaying so hard you can't get pregnant and have to drop everything, even the clomid! So yes let's add attempts now. :)

Can I just ask....what should you do prior to one attempt at positive OPK when on your first month of Clomid with regard to attempts? BD whenever and use protection?

Either is fine. You can choose to have protected or unprotected attempts prior to the one attempt in your fertile window. It is whatever you choose. I would, however, continue to BD E4D the rest of your cycle after your one attempt. I have seen too many people have their ovulation be different while on Clomid. We don’t want you to miss ovulation altogether.

I BDed E4D all cycle long the cycle I conceived my DD. I was planning on doing another attempt at positive opk, but my DH and I were too stressed after my DS3’s surgery.

It's up to you, you can do that or
you can have DH do abstain 7-10 days (if he's under 35)
or have him do daily release 7-10 consecutive days before attempt
or just let him "do what he does"
or have him release either on his own or with you with a condom every 2-4 days

Feeling a bit down and out this month too. 3rd cycle of clomid and we didnt manage every 4 days. Just so tired and so busy with the buisness. We did manage 1 attempt at positive opk. My surge only lasted 24hrs alot quicker than the last 2. Plus this time i had absolutely no pain atall round ovulation. Would this mean i may not of ovulated atall. So confusing!

You can ovulate without feeling any pain. In fact pain isn't even a reliable indicator ovulation has happened. I used to get bad pains around O time but after swaying for awhile, I noticed they stopped even though I was still ovulating.

You can O without any pain even if you normally get pains. I have life altering O pains (very similar to what people describe on Clomid all the time) and yet it's not every month, many months I have none at all.
That having been said is there any chance O may have been delayed?? I'd still have you be having intercourse every 4 days just to be on the safest safe side.

Several people have reported this to me and still gotten pregnant anyway!I tested with opk 4 days past my 1st surge so no i dont think i ovulated later and by my chart it looks like a small dip and rise so that coincides with the positive opk. Thanks for getting back to me. Do you think if this cycle doesnt give me a bfp should i do 1 more round of clomid but this time ill make sure its every 4 days we bd. This cycle was my 3rd round of clomid!

Felt like i wasnt even on clomid really. Is my body getting immuned to it. Ive always been a good responder to meds and never had any problems with it. We did cycle in thailand last year and got 1 girl embryo. I headed back this year but she didnt stick. Im 36 in january so im worried im running out of eggs.

Yes I'd definitely have you on e4d or even e4d plus one more at positive OPK now.
I don't feel comfy with anyone on more than 50 unless they are having ultrasound monitoring.
at 36 you still have time. please don't worry about running out of eggs, it's very likely you have years left in your reproductive window!

Keep doiing every 4 days plus one attempt at positive OPK, stay down for 15 minutes at least and spend part of that time on your tummy instead of your back.
You can also add in female O, it helps boost odds of conception.
I would try those changes first but you can also add in either a small amount of Preseed and/or guaifenesin.

No KY kills sperm. Use small amounts of sperm safe, conception friendly jellies like Preseed or Conceive Plus and use just the minimum you need for comfy intercourse since larger amounts may sway blue.

You can do it either Mon/Thurs or Mon/Fri. (these are not the exact days, just for illustration) It is up to you. The closer BD may be better for conception but possibly less pink friendly, the further may be better for pink but slightly less good for conception. They are both e4d method. Do whichever appeals to you more right now - better odds conception or better odds pink.

the pink sway effects of the Clomid seem to last a month or two after you stop taking it. Lots of people have gotten girls the month coming off the Clomid.
Did you continue the e4d after you thought you'd ovulated?? If not, do, since you Oed late.

So in that case, since your period came late, what that means is that you did not ovulate when you thought you did and had stopped having attempts long before you actually ovulated (right?? correct me if I'm wrong) Periods never come "late" (unless it's a miscarriage) Only ovulation is late, and then your period is tacked onto the end of your ovulation. So a late periiod means you ovulated later than you think.
Always keep going with the e4d unless you are 110% sure you have ovulated.
