Hi Atomic,
So DH and I were planning to start trying for a boy in December. The problem is, he will be very busy with his job and will be very stressed. But in January, he will be more free. Will this hurt our chances for blue? Should I just skip and wait until January?

Personally I don't think it will hurt your sway. I think it's more of when the woman gets stressed it can sway pink. FWIW my DH has a very stressful job and we have three boys. Good luck to you and tons of blue dust!!

Don’t worry about this at all! My DH is a school Principal and working on his PhD, and he is always very stressed. We managed to have a girl!

if all things are equal I'd wait it out just in case.

Stress can inhibit sperm production to some extent and if you have the option of waiting it may be beneficial. I don't think it's a dealbreaker to be sure, but just if you have the option.

Thank you guys for the replies!

Atomic, I will wait it out like you said because I'm planning to do frequent BD, every other day method and will try to have 3 attempts at positive OPK. He has made it clear to me that he won't be able to do all that with the stress of work and I wouldn't want to have only 1 or 2 attempts. So I think waiting til next month is best. Thank you!
