Hi ladies and atomic! Super excited to begin swaying. Excuse the long post. I’m planning to ttc late jan/early feb and thought I’d begin the process.
Supplements:
Daily.
-Fish oil 210mg
-Ginseng 500mg
-Multivitamins (Zn 10mcg, vit D 400 IU, folic acid 200mcg, selenium 32mcg etc)
Plan to stock up on.
-Vit D tabs for DH and myself. Finished one that was combined with calcium.
-EPO (never used)
-Folic acid? I think I’ll get the folate ones.
Tracking.
- BBT (thermometer just arrived)
- opk (got 10 cheap tests with thermometer planning on ordering more cheap ones and clear blue for actual ttc month (purple?blue?pink? Help)
*going to be my first month tracking [emoji33][emoji16]
Diet:
Morning.
-Celery green juice OR lemon-ginger-turmeric-honey tea)
- Porridge with dates cinnamon OR Muesli (fruit n nut) OR avocado baked beans toast. 1/2-3/4 cup full fat milk with each option
Snack
-Cucumber mint juice OR lemon lime juice
- Nuts (some salted)
Lunch
- blue berry-wheat grass-spirulina-banana-orange-coriander-maca powder smoothie.
- a fruity eg half a melon or papaya or apple etc
Early supper
- high protein (meat/fish/quinoa/lentils)
-high veges
-Sweet potato/potato/sometimes rice or pasta but rarely these days.
Snack
- something sweet (carbs)
- ginger-thyme-lemon-fennel seed tea
Misc:
-Use sea salt to cook and try to generously season food with it to get a good amount of sodium.
-Even though winter- expose myself to sunshine every moment I can.
-Sleeping well lately. Used to be insomniac when I was ttc DD.
Exercise:
-None yet. Not really active but want to begin light lifting weights today especially with recent muscle wasting I noticed.
I’m fully committed and invested in this. If I end up ttc a girl then no harm done! If anything mummy will be healthier albeit heavier. [emoji6]
Anything I missed? Tips? Corrections?
Oh and planning to temp vaginally, what should I clean thermometer with? Any rules?

Looks like you've got a pretty solid base for a blue sway.
These are just a couple of thoughts as I read through, take or leave any suggestions, it's your sway your way.
A priobiotic is generally recommended for blue. Not sure about the ginseng, it's definitely not commonly used by blue.
Try and aim for protein and carbs at each snack.
Not sure the maca and spirulina is generally recommended?
Try aim for lots of red meat dinners.
The sodium stuff doesn't work so just use salt as you like it, no need to load up on it.
Good idea on the weight training.
Blue swayers aim for 3 attempts at +opk. It usually ends up being pm on day of +opk, am and pm of next day.

I’m going shopping tomorrow for probiotics and all the other good stuff. Going to cut down on ginseng ( have been taking it for a while now)
Protein and carb snacks - noted
I haven’t eaten red meat in a year but now is a good time to start.
Thank you [emoji846]

I am currently taking these: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171129/958216cb61726ed2f6c0498c1a6176e8.jpg
I believe that Atomic has said there isn’t a specific recommendation for a brand of probiotic. I have heard before that the better brands are the refrigerated ones. These ones in the picture are refrigerated and only $10 on amazon for 150 of them.

I"m not a fan of ginseng, can't recommend that to anyone.
EPO we have moved away from as I felt it was making opposites
Not a fan of maca, wheatgrass, and spirulina. I feel both maca and wheatgrass may be making opposites, spirulina may not be safe in the long term. If you must do green juices no more than 2-3 x a week.
Don't load up on salt it has not seemed to sway blue and may even possibly sway pink when eaten in excess.

I don't recommend brands as it would be a full time job for me to keep up with them all.
Any name brand that you like and are familiar with. Refrigerted probiotics may be better than room temp. ones but at the same time are much more expensive.

Thank you!! Will be dropping them all. The salt and spirulina were difficult to do actually. Felt like my heart was constantly racing. Will cut down on juicing this month.
I truly see why I ttcd DD! I have to actively remind myself to eat properly and snack.
Thanks for your input atomic [emoji177]

yes that's the same thing and taking both would end up being much too high an intake.
