I have an almost postive Opk (probably positive tonight) on CD 17.
This is my first cycle after late miscarriage and I took clomid 5-9.
My question is...should I make an attempt this month or wait to next cycle on clomid that I’ll take 3-7.
I have more CM now than I think I have had on any of my previous 3 clomid cycles months back. I’m thinking this is because I’ve only been back on LE for 5-6 weeks after my miscarriage? I also weigh 10 lbs more from recent pregnancy..not sure if that changes CM.
Wondering if I should attempt tonight since I have all the CM? It worries me since I had very little my last cycles that I conceived. Or should I take an antihistamine to lessen it?
I don’t mind waiting till Jan if you think I have a better chance next month (longer on diet, 2nd round clomid, days 3-7)
If you think my recent miscarriage with clomid sways more than longer on diet, I’ll make one attempt tonight and leave it at one.
I’ve only had sex one other time unprotected this month and it was CD 11 so obviously that wouldn’t sway.
Thanks so much! I value your input and so appreciate all you’ve done to help me!

If you took Clomid, you try that month. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Clomid = attempt because you have a limited number of months you can take it and it's the best of the best sway tactic that there is.
So I would have you try tonight OR wait for pos OPK and then after this, start with e4d. I really prefer you to do e4d after this because your O can be delayed with the Clomid.

Okay, I did take clomid so I’ll try tonight if the opk gets darker. Thank you.
So don’t use antihistamine to lessen the cm?

You can if you want to, but antihistamine has not seemed to help. Totally up to you.

Oh I forgot to add that I have a bad cold sore so I’ve been taking valtrex. Does that sway either way?

Oh I just took 2 ibuprofen because I had a bad headache....I didn’t even think about it till after I took! I googled and it said it can cause miscarriage during conception. Is this true?

not likely. It's a very very distant chance and in people taking way more than that.

Thank you, good to know. Google always scares me haha. I Did the one attempt this month and should start in 9 days or so. If this month didn’t work I’ll do the E4D and clomid 3-7 which worked the last time I got pregnant with my girl.
I haven’t worked out in about 6-7 months. Should I start this month if I’ll be trying when I start Jan 10? Or will it raise my testosterone adding workouts for a few weeks before the attempt?

We originally worried about potentially "raising T" if you started it the month you were trying but the results for exercise have been so good I now think you should go for it if you possibly can. Testosterone has kind of fallen apart for swaying anyway and I really have a hard time believing it is swaying much if at all. So I think it's best to do what works for most people most of the time (exercise) and not skip it because of a theoretical fear that has never been proven (testosterone)

Why Does anti histamine not seemed to help? I probably won’t become clomid perscribed, unfortunately. So i will be taking Zyrtec & Benadryl. I read in the essay that benadryl is definitely swaying girl?

Why? Because we tracked our results and the same number of people got girls with and without it, so it clearly isn't working.
The essays talk about all kinds of sway tactics that some people use. Without testing them, we can't know if they are working or not. But antihistamines just really haven't seemed to help much. Up to you if you want to use them.
