Nope that's been debunked, the DNA leaves your body quickly and it is still accurate. I can't find the link but I read it on one of the company's sites.

Stick within the suggested gestation range and it is very accurate. 10-12 week range I believe is best.

Virtually all the times I've seen people complaining about the accuracy of the test they were people who had an ultrasound and chose to believe the ultrasound over the blood test (and were later proved wrong), or those who got inconclusive test results. While they say it's possible to get a wrong test result it is far, far less than the number of people who have wrong ultrasounds!

I know there is one of those tests they don’t recommend you do if you are on meds like heparin or Lovenox. I can’t remember which right now (I did a study for the company a few years back when it was pretty new). It’s because the meds are made from aninal products and can interfere with the results, but it’s everything, not just gender.

Dear atomic sagebrush,

Thanks a million for this! And there's no need for a link; if you say you've read it somewhere, I wholeheartedly believe you :-)

I was so frustrated last pregnancy because Harmony came back saying "boy" but my gynaecologist was absolutely convinced, at each and every scan up to birth, that she could definitely see a girl; so I never quite knew who to believe...

It's good to know that, this time, I can simply trust Harmony, no matter what the result may be :-) Thanks a million!

Oh gosh that's awful, I think ultrasound mistakes are really devastating for people. :/

My experience has been doctors are the worst at guessing gender and they shouldn't do it. Most of the inaccurate guesses have been coming from doctors
