Next time please do not continue with LE Diet into pregnancy. I really cannot stress this strongly enough. I am NOT saying this caused your loss, but pregnancies can and are very different from each other and I have had pregnancies that were very few symptoms and those with terrible symptoms and they all worked out. People have strong symptoms with losses and no symptoms with pregnancies that worked out. WE have had several people, myself included, who had few symtpoms with female pregnancies after having bad morning sickness with boy pregnancies - and I am not saying this is gender based since i had one boy pregnancy with few symptoms too, but my point is that you cannot tell if a) a pregnancy is working out based on symptoms and b) the gender of a pregnancy based on symptoms.

I think you need to try as soon as your doctor gives you the ok. Femara will only help.

I'm not saying it harmed your pregnancy. Please understand I am not saying that at all. I'm sure that it was a chromosomal thing since that is the cause of most losses. I just don't want you to do that next time and nor do I want anyone reading this thread who may not read anything else on the entire site thinking that is a good idea because even though you were not dieting strictly, others may be.

No, there is no need to get back on track with your diet again. We have good results trying soon after a miscarriage and most of those people tried as soon as they got their doc's permission. Especially with Femara I think you're ready to go right away.

We do make changes on Femara but diet and exercise stay the same. I do think you should be eating at least one serving of full fat dairy every day and 4-6 eggs a week if you aren't already. Drop fiber if you are taking it.

I would have you switch from folic acid to folate only.

The number/pattern depends on how big a hurry you are in to get pregnant here. e4d plus one is best odds of conception, but I usually have people start off with one attempt at pos OPK (trigger) or e4d first to see if they can get pregnant that way. It's totally up to you, if you want to be in with best chance of conception with possibly lower odds of pink, start with e4d plus one, if you want best odds of pink but lower odds of conception, do one attempt at trigger, and if you want to split the difference do e4d.

Well, the problem is that while most people can take folic acid perfectly fine, a few people have a genetic mutation that can make folic acid harmful for their unborn baby (it can build up to high levels). So when a person has a loss I often have them switch to the folate just as a preventative measure but the odds are the folic is probably perfectly fine for you to take. But if you do have the genetic mutation then you'd need to find something that had only folate and skip the folic acid all together.

:agree: I can't say if you need the extra attempt or not. If you want to do e4d plus one that's fine, or start off at e4d also ok. It's just one of those things I can't say for sure. I got my daughter at 41 with e4d (even though we weren't doing it on purpose that is how it worked out)

:agree: so since you know when to have that extra attempt getting the trigger what I would have you do is just start with e4d when you are ready to (either now or right after your last dose Femara) and then you can decide to have that extra attempt if you want to. There's no need to make a decision now, you can see how you feel about your attempts as you go. :)

Night of trigger. And keep going with the e4d at the same time
