My friend has a boy and four girls, my other friend just got pregnant with a girl. They are both gluten free. Does gluten free sway girl? My friend with the boy and 4 girls ate lots of meat and veggies and cheese but no gluten.

I believe Atomic has said before that it may. It's probably because it's more carb-y and usually gluten free foods like pasta or bread aren't fortified like a lot of wheat products are. GF breads and pastas are typically made of lower nutrient grains like rice and corn. You do have to be careful though because GF foods are often more fattening and higher in calories (gluten helps add flavor so more fat and sugar are added to make up for that). FWIW I've been gluten free for about 10 years (celiac) and I have three boys so it's not some magic charm for pink. Remember, it may not even be them being gluten free that swayed pink for them, but likely their overall diet (cal/fat/protein).

Yes I believe gluten free can sway pink. I am unclear about if it is something in the gluten free foods OR eating a more restrictive diet OR some underlying factor that makes people more likely to switch over to a gluten free diet (chronic illness). Probably some combination of the three. It is NOT a magic bullet though and I would not ever suggest anyone just do gluten free to sway, I'd also have you do lower fat/protein and anyone with PCO or IR needs to really, really watch the carbs since gluten free foods can be very carby.
