I’m totally lost with how I’m even pregnant and I’d love if someone could help me with this 🤣

I have long cycles
I had been using opks religiously
So I know when I got positives
I only had sex once with penetration and one other time (no penetration) that was waaaaay before my positive opks (not even a chance there)

I was in the throes of a health crisis! I found a breast lump and went for an emergency mammogram on the Wednesday of my first positive opk. It wasn’t positive until the afternoon negative the night before and negative in the morning. The next am, Thursday I had my typical “pains” in the ovary area....also positive opks that day. We didn’t do our business until Friday night 11:30pm 😂😂😂😂 so I’d very confidently say it happened early Saturday morning into Saturday day.

I was obsessed with worry over the mammogram and results the mammogram (came back clear) so I know I waited a couple days to “let the effects wear off” 🤣 and we had our single attempt a couple days later.

Is that decent one attempt swaying?

I thought I had no shot this cycle

Ovulation usually happens 12-36 hours after the first pos opk but it can be as late as 48 hours. The egg lives up to 24 hours so it sounds like you squeezed in your one attempt just in time. Congrats!

:agree: and we have even had some people who are Oing more like 48-72 hours later so I suspect you may have been in that group. Def. one attempt!

Probably o’d Late due to the stress of needing the mammogram

I was a MESS. Crying in the parking lot, they decided it was very important to get me answers same day so I wouldn’t go insane I’m suspecting

I’m pretty much bein a Debbie downer over my sway in retrospect tho. Too many boy factors. Especially the multi vit (didn’t take regularly or for more then a few weeks) and the amoxicillin that I only finished days before the attempt

Nothing I can do now lol

Awww Mums I'm so sorry. No one understands it's so nervewracking to wait and wait on them to decide if you're ok or not. :/ Glad it turned out ok.
