Hi ladies!
I am wondering if anyone has an opinion on my best course of action or any experience with this for ttc blue...
I have been reading through all of the information on doing a blue sway and plan to actively ttc the end of summer/beginning of fall 2018. I plan to do the recommended 6 weeks of HE diet before ttc but am slowly incorporating light weight lifting in to my life now.
I have been eating a very healthy, high fruit and veg diet for the last two years, but have not been very active in any way.
At the moment I weigh about 20 pounds more then my typical weight. My question is, should I work on getting this 20 pounds off right now in a healthy way since I’m so far ahead of ttc time frame? Or will that possibly ruin my future sway??
Thank you much for any advice!!

Yes absolutely work on getting that weight off in a healthy way! It won't ruin your sway at all. Keep lifting weights and eating a higher protein diet!

One more question if you don’t mind.
How far in advance do you recommend starting the supplements and ditching coffee for a blue sway (right now all I take is a multi and I’m not super religious about it, and I drink 3 cups of coffee a day, girl Mom here! [emoji23][emoji85])

This is totally me trying to cut back the coffee too atm. Was a 3-4 cup a day drinker and have got it down to 1-2 a day with the hope of getting it down to 3-4 per week for 8 weeks prior to ttc.

Oh yes! I would love to be down to 3-4 per week! It’s so hard! Did you just start cutting one out every day or did you replace it with something else?? It’s such a mindless thing for me to just go make a big cup of coffee and take five minutes away from my kids to enjoy it haha!

Melbourne is such a coffee culture and it's a very social drink here so cutting back is hard. I initially just cut one out per day and are now starting to replace them with tea since it sways blue. It's hard going under the radar as all my friends are asking why I'm not having coffee but I don't want them to know I'm going to be ttc let alone trying to skew the odds.

Supplements as far in advance (for the supps I recommend!! tell me the things you're planning on taking, some of what they recommend on other sites should NOT be taken in advance or frankly, at ALL)
I'd cut back to one cup of coffee. Your body will still take note of that and that way you won't have to totally give it up.

Can you switch to tea instead?? I got my 4 boys drinking tea and then switched to coffee when I got my girl.

Since you all are having summer, do you drink iced tea in Australia? May be an easier explanation: Hot weather makes me crave iced tea :)

Yes, I do really enjoy tea! I’m thinking since we won’t be ttc for a while if I start gradually switching to tea now I could be totally coffee free for months prior to ttc!

Oooh yeah I bet! Maybe just tell them you are trying the health benefits of tea?

I’m not sure how I missed your reply and question! So sorry! I have started taking my women’s one a day every day, and I’m taking one solgar folate a day(plan to up that when I get closer to ttc). I wasn’t planning on taking anything else...should I?
Dh is taken men’s one a day, the over 50+(he’s 32 but I read somewhere the 50+ is better?)

Oh yes those are fine to take in advance!! I'd have you take probiotics and 250-500 mg fish oil or DHA supp as well.
Yes men's over 50 is better for DH even when he's not 50+. :)
