I am 26 weeks with a baby i hope. Lol.
I have 4 girls and at 18 weeks had a gender reveal which was all pink. I didnt see the parts for myself during the scan but the sonographer had a very quick look and seemed satisfied it was a girl.
Fast forward to yesterday, i had a growth scan. I asked to see the gender and we both we shocked. I wish i got a photo to show you guys best i can do is explain what it looked like and hope you can help?
There was 2 butt cheeks and legs, then a big ball thing, with slightly jagged towards the top. It did not resemble a penis or a vagina, i have 4 girls and with them u always see 3 lines. If i am honest i saw no lines just a big circle thing.
The sonographer has been doint scans for 35 years and said hes never had one like it, he spent 20 minutes studying it. He said its really puffy for a labia but it looks a lot like a scrotum but he cant see the penis. He got another tech in and she said "wow i have no idea".
He said it looked very girly at 18 weeks but said what it looks like now is a scrotum he just cant see a penis but cant see labia. He said he felt awful but wasnt gonna guess one way or the other.
I do have pics of baby and a nub shot... but nothing potty unfortunately. Can girls be sooo puffy that it resembles a scrotum? What do you think it is? Ive decided to not find out via scan but i am curious
