So we have decided to try for one last baby. I thought after 3 our family would feel complete but my daughter is almost 4 and we are still feeling that tug. So we are giving ourselves 2 cycles to try for one last baby, and if it doesn't happen then we will have peace that it's not God's plan for us.
While I would be thrilled with another boy (my boys are now 8 and 6), the kids are thinking it would be nice for Cora to have a sister and I too can see the value in that. So I find myself here again in this lovely community where I spent hours helping others, studying nub shots, and getting support when we needed it to see if I can sway the odds in my favor for a girl once again. <3
I would love any guidance based on what recommendations have changed since my last sway and what I should stick with. We are going to try in Feb and March, so I don't have much time to prepare but I also didn't prepare too long last time. Does anyone have advice for me? Thank you in advance. By the way, I am still occasionally nursing my 3 year old (about once a day). Everything else is about the same. Still on the tired side (I'm a work-at-home mama so I work late at night when the kids go to bed). Pretty low stress though in general. I'm happy. And FYI this first attempt will be during a full moon phase (actually blue moon).
Here is how our very gentle sway went last time (I just looked it up...I had forgotten parts of it!):
I basically didn't eat breakfast for that month, ate very little meat for a few months, low-ish sodium, drank a lot of CL and DH did too, lots of carbs, folic acid, calcium, and cranberry supps, took Vitex AF-O, and tried to lower my testosterone as much as possible by staying stress-free and avoiding food sources of testosterone.
I had also just finished nursing and had lower T than with my boys, I'm SURE of it and I think that was key for me. Was also sleep-deprived and generally felt less healthy than I did when I conceived the boys. When conceiving the boys I had stayed well nourished and been exercising regularly. Used rephresh as lube, jump & dump after 5 mins.
The things that were against me: I had just finished a course of antibiotics from a UTI, I did have an O (oops--accidental) and I ovulated on or the day before that big super moon, so that was a false theory for me. Biorhythms said boy. I did do a lot to counteract ions though, just in case. Also used rephresh to keep ph low during the first two attempts. We made 3 attempts before O, stopped day of O, and did O+18. Lots of praying!!!!!
