Hi everyone, I've been on and off the TTC train for the past year. I stopped my BCP in February last year, it was a combo and gave me a ton of issues including atopic dermatatis (which decided to stick around even after I stopped the pill.) Anyways, it messed me up royally and I have no one to blame, but myself. I got my first period sometime in May and have had maybe 4 or 5 since then. I've been spotting for the last 24 days now. The previous periods were long too, but the flow was extreme for 7-8 days. I know that you may say to go to the doctor.
I have to say I have NOT been good to myself this past year, skipping breakfast every day (intermittent fasting), hardly working out, copious amounts of stress, etc. Things have evened out in the past month and I'm getting back on the train. I hope that my ovulation was just off due to me not taking care of myself (I can get pregnant, have 2 girls.) So now I'm back to tracking, taking OPK tests, I'm on the HE diet since a week ago.
I'm taking RAW prenatals, folate 2000mcg (but I think it's making me a bit loopy), CoQ10, drinking tea, honey, bee pollen, propolis, and cut down to 1 cup of coffee, cut out energy drinks (I drank like 3 per day), back to working out with weights and low cardio. I'm 160 lbs (my heaviest I've ever been) and I'm 5'9", so BMI 23.6 is a high normal.
Question is this: If I'm not ovulating and my hormones are out of whack, could I take Pregnitude to kick the things off and maybe couple it with cassava root to help it sway more blue? I'm sure that the biggest reason I had 2 girls before was my diet and only 1 attempt in the O window. I didn't know any better, so delayed and restrained my poor hubby.
I'm a bit obsessive and looked at the reviews of people who have taken Pregnitude on Amazon and tracked the boy vs girl ratio (when mentioned) and it seemed 50/50, even with a couple extra boys.
Thank you in advance :) And yes, I am in process of getting a full pan.
