Hi there

This is my first post after lingering a long time. We are attempting our first sway next week but I have a few concerns I would like some re-assurance or assistance with.

Firstly, my DH is on warfarin. I can't find any information regarding this lowering sperm count, does anyone know if warfarin sways any particular gender?

Secondly, it's spring time in Sydney and my hayfever has been particularly bad this season. Can anyone tell me when I should take (have taken) my last hayfever tablet in order for it not to effect my sway. It's sooo hard not to take a nice little pill that will make me feel a million times better :worry:

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi and welcome!!!

I did not find anything specific about warfarin and sperm count either, so I would suspect not.

I am SOOO sorry about the hayfever, I have it too and it's awful not to be able to take something. Strictly speaking, it's not allowed BUT you gotta do what you gotta do. If it were me, I would try for one good attempt right at O and just skip my antihistamine THAT day alone. So take it daily thru O-1 then on O day, DON'T take it that day and have your attempt (possibly even taking some Robi/Muci if you can bear it), then at O+1 take the antihistamine again.

Thanks for that. It has reassured me. So far I have managed not to take any pills for 2 days although I have to use the antihistamine eye drops otherwise my eyes will close up..LOL

That's good news about the warfarin and sperm count. It is already affecting our sway because DH cannot take any of the supplements but he has changed his diet so hopefully that will be enough.

Thanks again
