Delayed ovulation- feeling fed up!

Still hanging around waiting for ovulation! Typical that the month we want to try and nothing is happening! Have relaxed my sway a little in hope that O will come but feeling deflated. A friend has invited me out for pasta and wine later, might be quite a few too many wines but feel like I need to de-stress! How much will this ruin my sway?! Any of you ladies done this?

I don’t drink alcohol, but the cycle that my ovulation was delayed was over Christmas, and I relaxed a little on the diet and think it was no coincidence that I ovulated soon after. I just had slightly more fat that I usually do.

How late is ovulation?

One cheat is not going to ruin your sway. Besides, wine is not cheating! lol It's important to still be able to live your life while swaying and not let swaying become your life. Go out, have fun, and drink some wine girl!

I feel you, this month was awful my O was over a week late!!! So super long cycle but at least it came! Hope same happens for you!

Remember, if anything we did for one day mattered, we'd do diet for one day.

A watched pot never boils and stress is 100% proven to delay ovulation. My official prescription is Vitamin P - patience! :) It will come eventually. Just keep taking OPK or having e4d attempts so you will be ready when the egg shows up.

Thanks ladies! We were only going to do the one attempt. Do you think we should start e4d? I know I have a short surge as you are supposed to get 2 days of a smiley face and I only ever get one. I have been testing 2 or 3 times a day, but it’s costing a fortune! Ovulation could be in a few days or weeks away!!
I was supposed to ovulate Tuesday and it’s now Saturday.

Apparently I ovulated the same day as my opk it was very strange this month! I can’t even pin point why it was so delayed I am having house renovations but it hasn’t been stressful! I came just over a week later, have a look at my chart in my sig :)

Most of the time I do like people to start off wiht one attempt and since this is really your first month out, babylove, that is why I didn't have you on e4d yet.

Ah yes the cost of the OPK!! That is a biggie and given that, I do think you should go to e4d or even once a week like we talked about in your coaching forum!

It’s very bizarre isn’t it!! I am still yet to ovulate, am a week overdue but getting some more promising signs now thankfully. Wishing you lots of good luck and hope you get your bfp soon :-)

Thank you :) it’s typical the one wacky cycle I have it happens!! I didn’t get my bfp till 12dpo! Sorry if I asked before but are you temping? Was only was I knew I o’d! Don’t give up it will come :) I did e4d which helped cover all bases!

Thank you! I’m not temping as I am still up at lot with my little boy so I think this would make temping unreliable? Did you not get a positive opk then?? I think we will start e4d if nothing happens soon!

I did but somehow the day after I ovulated due to my chart!? Luckily e4d fell o-1! :)

How strange!! Thankfully you did the e4d! Did you have the normal ovulation signs leading up to it? The fact it was delayed, did you have the usual run up to ovulation? My signs are usually quite strong so I know positive opk is coming but not getting much, a few on and off!
