So I have done my best for a perfect sway. I also had a positive feeling about my sway until I had the 13 week scan. the tech saw a girls nub. according to other sites Everyone guesses that this is a clear girls nub. I am sad and I feel guilty that I am sad. on the internet I also read that some nubs are late risers but I do not want to give myself any hope anymore :-( what do you ladies think?

I know it's not what you are hoping to hear but this does look very much like a girl to me. I'm sorry- it's ok to feel disappointed, many of us have been in your shoes and understand how hard it is.

I know :-( I'm curious if there is a small chance that the nub is a late riser

It does look very girly to me, sorry. I don't think it's likely to rise at this point but there's always a chance we're wrong as nub shots aren't 100% accurate for gender. I'm sorry you didn't hear boy. I know what it's like to put so much into swaying and then it doesn't work out the way you hoped it would. Hugs

It does look girly - I have seen a couple late risers, but I would expect a girl and then if you get good news later on, that's great. Beautiful baby, congratulations.

Sorry you didnt hear boy. It does look girly and at 13 weeks it is unlikely that it could rise.

I know that from 13 weeks it will not rise quickly. On the internet I have read some stories and seen flat nub photos from 13 weeks which became a boy. it gave me a small hope but I do not want false hope

I know just how you feel, I’m expecting #3 girl after my blue sway...it does look very girly, so would definitely brace myself to have it confirmed as a girl but you never do know ;)

I compared my scan with a confirmed girl nub and I think the nub of my baby is a bit higher than the bottom photo. or am I imagining in desperation? the green circle is the nub. between the two stripes I see something small in the middle. what can it be?

I won’t lie...I cried for days at first. It has been a roller coaster, and along with negative comment after negative comment has been tough, but I truly am excited to meet her as much as it still hurts not to have a son and all my friends and acquaintances getting their pigeon pairs or boy after boy (my SIL is due 2 weeks before me with her 2nd son for instance). Though, having experienced bad gender disappointment especially with my 2nd DD, I can say I love her beyond any words regardless of her gender and know it will be the same with DD3.
I keep my FX that your Bub may be a boy, keep us posted!!

can someone please answer my question from above? and Is there a chance that the nub can rise to a boy?

I think it would be unlikely to rise. Even though you see a very slight angle the nub itself is straight and girly looking. By 13 weeks boys nubs are looking quite stacked and penis-like and are sticking up at nearly a 90 degree angle from the body.

I see. Well I will have to wait until the sex is confirmed in a few weeks

UPDATE: it’s a girl! I know it sounds terrible and ungrateful, but I am sad! the ideal that I dreamed of has quickly disappeared. what have I done wrong with my sway? does the atomic or someone else want to take time to look at my sway? then I will work it out. I want tips!

Oh Hun- hugs to you- I know how you feel, I had major disappointment when I found out our first was a DD instead of a DS- I was even in denial despite multiple ultrasounds, I kept thinking maybe they're wrong and on delivery day it'll be voila it's a boy! I will tell you when you see that babe, the disappointment will go away- you will fall in love with the beautiful half you half hubby creation!

Plus ! You have time to plan and perfect the next sway if you decide to sway again :)

Where is your sway posted? Remember with natural swaying even if someone does the most perfect sway there can never be a 100% guarantee it'll be a boy- it just ups the chances to make it more favourable for a boy. There will always be a chance it can be a girl.
