I did my one insemination yesterday morning at 830 am which was cd12. Negative opk when we did it. Then my opk turned positive that night! I wasn't expecting positive till tonight and now I'm worried we did it too close to ovulation?

1-o and 2-o are best odds of conception. It doesn't matter how close or far away from ovulation your attempt is in relation to gender, timing doesn't sway, the one attempt does. Good luck strawberrybella!! I'll be following along have everything crossed for your bfp [emoji3]

Remember, timing doesn't sway! Scientists have studied it and found about 50-50 boys and girls conceived every cycle day. One attempt does seem to sway and you did that! Good luck and pink dust!

I agree with everyone else that timing doesn't sway.
Just a personal anecdote, but I got pregnant with my daughter either right before or right after ovulation. We dtd at night, and the next morning just hours later I already had a temp shift. Shettles would have said that would have made a boy more likely.
I also think O + 12 is a bad idea because IVF studies have shown that eggs should ideally be fertilized within 6 hours.
