Pretty sure I'm Oing today. And wouldn't you know, stupid me was tempted by a plate of nachos and now I have consumed over 2000mg of sodium already and it's not even 5 o'clock yet. I'm so mad at myself. I've been doing so good with my diet. I have been staying right at 1500 calories, staying pretty darn close to the recommended levels of fat, protein and sodium (although usually I'm at around 1400mg of sodium). And today of all days I have to go and be stupid. UGH! :(

oh no. I am sure one mistake shouldn't cause too many problems though.
Just googled a little bit and it said if you eat to much sodium you can drink lots of water to help dilute it.
Not sure if that advice is any good on the girl diet.
good luck

haha,Well correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure that it wont affect you as it takes a while to change your body chemistry they say 6 weeks into the zone so one day cheating isnt going to throw it back that fast? I hope not....
Directly after we oed,,or think we did ? I also had almost a whole cheese and tomato pizza!

Honestly, I don't think one day, even if it's THE day, will make or break ya. It's the overall pattern of your diet. Even our caveman ancestors occasionally stumbled onto a mammoth, even in times of famine. Your body "takes note" of your overall diet, not one meal here or there, because it's your overall access to resources and your overall environment that your child of a particular gender will have to survive in.

I also think sodium is the least important of anything so if you're good on everything else, I would just let the nachos go and move on.

Remember, all those gals walking around out there with girls conceived with no effort whatsoever, did on occasion eat nachos!

I agree you can flush out some sodium with water, but I did want to warn everyone that it is possible to drink too much water (and actually you can die from that.) So stay hydrated but be sensible about it.

Exactly! If it was as easy as eating one meal to sway blue, none of the blue swayers would have to follow the blue diet!! :)
