View Full Version : Surprised I got my BFP! Happy yet nervous!

This is my 10 weeks scan . Isit possible to know the gender already? Is that a boy nub? I see something sticking out.
Can’t help but already feeling the GD! Sob sob!

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I'm pretty sure even people who believe in nub theory think you can't tell anything at 10 weeks. I had a 13 week scan which was a boy (angle) nub and boy\flatter skull and I had a girl!!! I think you just have to wait until 16+ weeks and have a gender scan if you really want to know.

You can sometimes guess if you get a clear nub shot between 12 and 14 weeks, closer to 13 is better as the nub can still rise in the 12th week. Even still it can be wrong! Sometimes you can tell it's a boy around 13 weeks if you get a perfect potty shot but just because there is nothing there at that stage doesn't mean it's girl!

Like MrsEnglish said 16+ weeks is much better for a potty shot, the closer to 20 the more accurate.
