Hi Atomic,
I was going to buy Folate and found a Solgar one saying Folate as Metafolin, is that OK?
If I was to take 1400mcg daily, would that be OK?
Does my Vitamin D deficiency affect the dose I should take?
I found 1000mcg and 400mcg tablets so I could take one in the morning and one in the evening.
Any advice on how to take this and what to watch out? Also will taking this 3 months before TTC be enough?
Thank you

I've used Solgar (as Metafolin) for the past 11 months or so w/ no problems, and I've seen atomic OK that brand/form of folate. My bottles are 800 mcg each pill. I think 3 months is fine - that's what I think doctors officially recommend. Before BFP I was taking 2-3 pills a day (so 1,600-2,400 mcg per day), 2-3 times per day. Atomic says it's better to split it up over the day b/c if you take a really high amount at one time your body just pees out the extra, so if you took 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening that would be good.

May split it to 2-3 times a day as well
So take 1000 once and then 400 each other time, will see what I can find
