I’m just now getting my head around the LE diet. So it’s best to have 2 meals a day, but still keep to 1500 calories- that means those two meals are quite high in calories. I tend to stick around 300-400 calories a meal if not less normally.
750 calories meal is a pretty big meal. Especially when limiting protein (meat) and fats. I’d love to hear some meal suggestions.
I just struggle to workout what type of meal is vegetarian that can have that many calories...

JoJo - you can eat 3 meals a day. Atomic says 2 or 3 is completely fine and lots of people do 3. I swayed for 10 months (pregnant now but probably going to miscarry), and found it too hard to do 2 meals a day, 1.) because it left me too hungry, and 2.) because I found it really hard to get enough fat/calories/protein in for the whole day without feeling like I was gorging during those two meals.

2 OR 3 meals, both are equally acceptible, do whichever works better for you.

I always had 3, although I must admit I could easily eat 750 cals of vegetarian food in one sitting and go back for seconds LOL.

I try to keep some flexibility in the eating schedules since we are all different and need different eating patterns for school/work/child schedules.

I posted a photo above of the lunch I had today- two cruskets with generous cottage cheese and three mini tomatoes, plus a smoothie- low fat milk, cocoa, 1/2 cup frozen strawberries and one sachet of equal.

Is this a good girl friendly lunch?

It was easy and quick which is great for me.

Also one more question- if I have a small coffee in the morning does that qualify as breakfast and then effect my “intermittent fasting??”
I ask because I usually skip breakfast as a norm but have a coffee around 8/9am...

If it does count as breakfast - I was thinking of finishing eating at 7pm then start eating again at 9 (I don’t think I can wait longer to have my coffee)- then at least it would count as 14hours of no eating...

Thoughts atomic?

Appreciate your insight :)

It's fine, I can't tell based on one meal if you're getting enough food though.

Coffee in the morning does not count and we virtually all did that. Living without coffee in the morning is a step too far LOL. :)

Thanks Emshe :)

Wow Aromic, I just read (mostly read but skimmed a little) the essay you wrote on maternal dominance etc/Marty/Martha etc- gee its helped me a lot!
My new plan is to sway for longer than I initially planned. I was going to start trying in May but I’m going to gather the info over the next week or so and then stop obsessing and just get into the routine of the lifestyle change (which to be honest I want for sooo many more reasons). I’ve started Really enjoying the hour of exercise a day, an eating mainly vegetarian with the exception of a little chicken here and there.

Would you be open to reviewing my sway once it’s Locked in?

I will return when I get my BFP. I plan to do the harmony test so that I know the gender ASAP.

Atomic... this is my proposed sway...
Would love your feed back, and if you’d add or drop anything :)
My BMI is currently 24.6
I used to eat and live a VERY boy friendly diet. Lots of snacking and boy friendly food. (Hence why I have two boys). My last pregnancy actually was a girl (we sadly lost her) and I was swaying girl without realizing- for about 6 weeks before we fell pregnant. Also worth mentioning I also have MTHF gene mutation.

My sway

-Vegetarian diet (DH mostly vegetarian)
-LE DIET, 1500 max cal a day
-50 min cardio a day outside
( min 5 days a week)
-Ions: pink rock salt lamp, three plants in my bedroom, using Neg ion panty liners, live near beach and go min 3 time a week.
Organic Lavender essential oil diffused every night while we sleep,

DTD
-first month: one attempt at 3 day cut-off + Jump and dump
-Second month: one attempt at POSTIVE OPK + jump and dump.

1500 mcg MTHF biologically active Folate (calcium L-5- methyltetrahydrofolate)

No other supps or hormones- cannot bring myself to do Clomid and not sure if it’s worth adding magnesium and calcium in... would like advice?

Main meals ideas :
•Ratatouille with white rice or Konjac noodles (low carb- do these sway girl or boy?)
and a little low salt Parmesan. (Could live off this meal [emoji39])

•Egg plant parmesan
(Egg plant, Parmesan, mozzarella, Passata,

•Veggie Tortilla
(Corn Tortilla, roast capsicum, zucchini , mushroom, feta, tomato) - or whatever veggies I have. Or add a fried egg/egg white.

•Cruskets with cottage cheese and tomato.

•Creamy mushroom and spinach pasta
(Pasta, mushrooms, flour, skim milk, frozen spinach, small amount Parmesan)

•Pink smoothie: skim milk or Unfortified rice milk, strawberries, equal (aspartame sweetener) and cocoa.

•Chobani yogurt 0.05% fat Greek yogurt with frozen blueberries.

•Philadelphia light spreadable cream cheese on white Unfortified bagal or English muffin.

•English muffin with rocket, low salt cheese, one egg.

•Stir fry with low carb noodles or white rice.

•veggie pizza on small pita bread.

Snacks or add on to meals if still hungry: peeled apple with TAblespoon ABC spread (almond/Brazil/cashew)
Mini cucumbers with a little hummus.

Desserts:

Rice pudding (rice, skim milk, equal, vanilla and cinnamon)

Chocolate pudding:
Reduced fat ricotta, I tsp chia seeds, cocoa powder, equal, cinnamon.

Drinks: red wine, one coffee a day, 2-4 liters of water, planning to drink one crystal lite a day during the 10 days before DTD.

The plan is to do this for 12 weeks then start trying in May/June.

Oh and fiber! Currently on Metamucil psyllium husks but will use Chitasan (the one you recommended in the fiber essay...) when it comes in. Currently have it on back order

Oh and one more add on- I will be skipping breakfast. So starting off with a coffee around 8-8:30am (finishing eating around 7pm night before) then eating lunch when I’m hungry- which is usually around 11.30am

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.

Be sure you're not getting folic acid in fortified foods. Things like pasta and some breads have folic acid added to them and you should try to avoid these if possible.

1500 cals a day is not maximum. Only like 3-5% of people should be on 1200-1500. Most should be on 1500-1800, and as many as 25% of people should be on 1800-2000. I don't like to see you guys starting off too low in cals, so err on the side of eating more than you think you'll need from the start.

No negative ion panty liners. Not only do they not work http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/63173-ion-insanity.html but they are emitting unacceptible levels of radiation and many countries are not even allowing them into their country for this reason. https://www.inquisitr.com/1946302/radioactive-sanitary-pads-30-crates-of-maxi-pads-seized-radioactivity-was-35-times-more-than-permitted/

With MTHF mutation you may want to take even more folate than that. It's up to you, but even 2000-3000 is not unheard of. your body will just excrete the excess in your urine.

Whether to take calcium and magnesium is at your discretion. Many of us, myself included, got boys while taking them and so it was very easy for us to give up on them to conceive our girl (my husband and I were at the lowest calcium intake of our whole lives when we got our girl, and eating tons of sodium too!) But I understand that it's hard for some of u guys to give that up and so it's up to you, just be sure you are taking calcium/mag without vit. D or anything else added, and additionally that you are not doing the large amounts of dairy foods as recommended by some sway diets.

The foods themselves are really not that important. The thing that matters is the overall nutrient content of your diet - 1500-1800 cals a day (already discussed this!) 40-50 g protein, 30-60 g fat for most people, and for anyone with PCOS or tendencies that way (if you have trouble losing weight, have inexplicably long cycles, or history of lots of ovarian cysts or gestational diabetes in pregnancy) will need to boost pro and fat to 50-60 g apiece.

Foods don't sway, so you can't ask me if konjac noodles sway pink. Konjac noodles can be a part of an overall pink friendly diet, for sure, but you need to stick in limits for the day! Same with all the foods - they're all fine, but you need to look at the overall nutrient content of your diet.

My only concern about the stuff you've listed is that you seem to be getting very little fat. YOu do not need to eat ONLY (and in fact if you have any PCO-tendencies, you shouldn't be eating ANY) low fat foods. Low fat dairy in particular is really bad for people with PCO-tendencies and including even just 1 serving of full fat dairy daily can keep you ovulating (even without PCO-tendencies). YOu MUST be getting 30 g fat absolute minimum and looking at all the skim/lowfat items you list I can't see how you are getting enough, and I am concerned you'll stop ovulating if you don't add some back in.

Since you mention cinnamon I do want to warn you off eating any more than 1/8 teaspoon a day. People are eating an excessive amount of cinnamon, thinking that it sways, but I don't want ANYONE using more than 1/4 teaspoon (and that is only for those with moderate to severe PCOS.)

Otherwise everything is looking good! Good luck, pink dust, and thanks for your patience.
