View Full Version : Does Second Ejaculation Sway?

So I was pretty sure that if a man ejaculates twice during 1 -3 hours, then the second ejaculation would contain fewer sperm and thus sway pink, but I'm just not sure how dramatically that would reduce chances of conception. I'm guessing that it varies a ton depending on the individual man, and without having a sperm analysis there's no way of knowing.
But I was just wondering if in the history of swaying, people have ever used the technique of having sex twice in a night, where the first time they use a condom or pull out, and the second time he finishes in her, and if so how that worked out for them?

Yes, we've had that option since the beginning of this site 8 years ago. We call it "hurry up FR". We don't have the ability to know how strong a sway it is - I kind of doubt it does anything since NONE of the frequency patterns have done anything, only the one attempt. So if you did it with one attempt, great, but don't count on it to salvage a sway.
It does cut odds of conception and additionally it's caused a lot of stress/trouble for people when their husband ended up unable to perform. It's about more than just cutting odds of conception - if your husband can't have intercourse or can't finish a second time, that's it, you're out for the month.
A sperm analysis wouldn't really help anyway as there are too many variables from batch to batch. Sometimes a guy can make a whole lot of sperm quick, other times he can't, and things like diet, lack of sleep, even the weather may matter. So we just can't know. People have absolutely gotten pregnant that way. Others have not been able to.
If you do want to try it I'd skip douches, jellies, antihistamines, even extend J and D for a while longer than you were.

Okay, so I was just wondering this same thing, assuming that the second "batch" in a short time would be less fertile than the first.
I came upon this article: How To Get Pregnant Faster: Men Who Ejaculate Twice Within An Hour May Be More Likely To Conceive (http://www.medicaldaily.com/how-get-pregnant-faster-men-who-ejaculate-twice-within-hour-may-be-more-likely-363738)
I don't know how credible it is or if Atomic will be able to interpret it differently, but it seems to me they're saying that second sperm is actually MORE fertile.

Unfortunately this is with IUI though. With IUI small batches and less semen doesn't matter because the sperm are washed and shot up where they need to go and are all capacitated and have a very short swim to the egg.
Plus, all the guys who couldn't go again, a second time, are weeded out from that study (and trust me, this is not a small group.) This is only the guys who COULD go again - and who may be coming in more "set" for higher fertility anyway. And, finally, we don't know what % of these people had boys or girls anyway. We are assuming that high male fertility = more boys conceived, but that is only an assumption, we don't even know that. It's the assumption we operate under around here, but it may not even be true.
I have seen many couples try this and many of them either their husbands could not get/maintain an erection, could not ejaculate (causing them to miss the month), or did not get pregnant. I'm more inclined to have you guys do methods wiht a decent chance of conception with one attempt, which I really do feel is a strong pink swayer. :)
So...leaving the ball in your courts, ladies, if you do try it, let us know how you get on.

Yeah, the whole idea of it made me nervous anyway, if there is any possibility it could sway blue. I'd originally considered b/c my husband can and probably could do it again. He's someone I put into the "super fertile" batch and I'm doing what I can within reason to try to slow that down a bit (OLE, etc). This whole second ejaculation thing crossed my mind, but I ended up as "meh". :)

Here’s my experience- I’m pretty certain of the night we conceived. We had sex twice, the first time he pulled out, the second time he didn’t. We weren’t swaying and I didn’t even think about it having any swaying powers, it was more of a in the moment thing. Well, we are having a boy!

Thanks everyone, we've decided to pass on that technique. Doesn't seem worth it to me.

:agree: so many of these things we did try and after having them cause tons of trouble for people, I too am "meh" LOL. :)
