Please, if you got an opposite or know of one, please give me a heads up so we can keep our numbers real rather than presenting an artificially inflated picture of what we can all realistically expect with swaying.

Hey atomic! I’m not sure that I actually swayed. We dtd every day except 1 for 3 weeks, didn’t follow any diet, we used preseed, and I took a prenatal vitamin. But, I was on femara and metformin and I also conceived about 3 months after I had a loss.

That being said, I was hoping/praying for a girl and my NIPT test came back girl!

Ok so im having a girl after 4 boys. We didn't sway. In fact, I thought I had ovulated the day before (I'm very aware of my body, EWCM, ovulation pains, etc). We dtd the day after I ovulated, my cm had dried up and we did doggy style (sorry tmi). All the things that tell you it's too late for conception and doggy increase the chances of make sperm getting there quicker. My only thought is that dh girl sperm managed to catch the egg on its way down and we are finally having a GIRL!

I just want to be sure these numbers are accurate though because I fear that people see all that pink and may think "well I don't want to mess up the results with my opposite" and don't say anything. But we need ALL the data as accurate as we can get it because I don't want people to set themselves up for swaying expecting anything higher than what is a real world result. We have changed some stuff over the past couple years and I certainly HOPE that these results are legit, just that I am not ready to trust them and I don't want you guys to trust them, either. If this keeps up for 3 years in a row then maybe I'll start believing it, till then please don't expect anythign better than 2/3 pink, 1/3 blue with swaying. :)

This is not the spreadsheet data. This is simply sways where I am aware of people who swayed this year and the outcomes they had. I do this every single year because it's just an easy way to keep track of things and for people to visualize how our outcomes are doing among the active members. Lots of people wonder "oh I wonder what so and so got" and so I do these threads to make it easier for people to keep track of the people who they were trying to conceive with, even if they leave the site and don't stay in touch.

I do tell people to look at the Complete Sway Stats which number to nearly 500 people by now instead of either the Due Date groups or this list because that number is much more accurate. If you know of sways that are not in here, please update me with names. (I literally ask for this on every single page LOL...scroll back and you will see that I am constantly asking for people to let me know about sways that don't work because I want these numbers to be as accurate as possible) Trinity, I had added you back when I first read that you were having an opposite, actually, and you are on that page already. I did see one other name in the spreadsheet that I hadn't added and added it, but then I also saw 2 successful sways that I hadn't added yet as well.

I agree that these numbers are suspiciously high and I expect them to drop over time.
Again, ladies, please help me out here, I WANT ALL KNOWN SWAYS in these pages, success and opposite alike. I do not and NEVER HAVE told anyone to expect this level of success. I use only the results of the spreadsheet data and not these year by year tallies when people ask me what results they can expect, so we can get the largest sample size we can get and thus the most reliable information.

My goal is for the most accurate results we can get, even if the results are actually lower than reality would be because I want people to go into swaying with a realistic expectation of success and not an artificially high one.

Huge congrats, I've added you to the list!

At the top of the page you'll see a bar with several options like home, forums, etc. Select the one that says "my posts", click it, and it will give you options between "my threads" and "my posts". If u click my threads you will get a list of all the threads you started and you can just scroll thru those and find your sway that way and then update it.

This is with PINK SWAYS. This is a thread about swaying PINK, not swaying blue. With good pink sways we are getting girls about 2/3 of the time (actually a bit better now - 69% with 509 people reporting - but over the course of time we've tended to hover around that range) and getting boys about 1/3 of the time.

This thread has nothing to do with blue swayers. This was me talking totally to the pink swayers.

For blue swayers, not counting 2018 we have 68% boys, with 218 people reporting, with our blue sway tactics. So far in 2018 we started off great but have had several opposites in a row which has brought it down to 55% right now, but this will change over time as it's only 9 people reporting so far.

When I am told about a failed sway I immediately come to this thread and post it. I do my level best to include everyone in these results but sometimes i"m juggling 10 other things and miss an update, or I never hear about it. I need you guys to come and tell me (as many times as it takes, if you think I've missed you - it happens.) that your sway didn't work out. I'm not wired into the Internet and literally can't read every post on the site, so if you updated somewhere and I didn't read it there's no way for me to know about it. And if you told me and I somehow missed updating it, tell me again.

I have repeatedly, repeatedly called for opposites in this thread and posted again and again not to use this as your baseline for deciding whether to sway or not. I go out of my way to remind everyone that swaying is not a guarantee and tell people time after time to use the absolute lowest possible expectations of success instead of artificially high ones, more than any other site that I'm aware of. I do think swaying works about 2/3 of the time and have posted that in many places. Some tactics get more but I've never promised any kind of guarantee whatsoever.

This thread is and never has been represented as anyone's expectation of success rates with swaying. I'll repost a few of those below just for the sake of "clearing my name". I understand you are disappointed and that you are trying to be helpful to spare others your disappointment, but I obviousy cannot let incorrect information that I am misrepresenting anything, stand uncorrected.

Don't read too much into them - please go in expecting about what the overall success rate of the site is (currently 69% with a sample size of 496). While I feel very happy looking at all that pink, I don't want anyone going into swaying with an artificially inflated expectation of success and it very well may be that we're just having a good year and/or that some people haven't posted their sways yet and that number may fall. :)

This is with PINK SWAYS. This is a thread about swaying PINK, not swaying blue. With good pink sways we are getting girls about 2/3 of the time (actually a bit better now - 69% with 509 people reporting - but over the course of time we've tended to hover around that range) and getting boys about 1/3 of the time.

This thread has nothing to do with blue swayers. This was me talking totally to the pink swayers.

For blue swayers, not counting 2018 we have 68% boys, with 218 people reporting, with our blue sway tactics. So far in 2018 we started off great but have had several opposites in a row which has brought it down to 55% right now, but this will change over time as it's only 9 people reporting so far.

July 23 (blue sways back up to 63% for anyone wondering)

And these are just in ONE thread. I have posted countless other posts telling people not to expect overly high chances of success with swaying, telling them swaying is not a guarantee, etc. So while I must apologize if I am sounding overly sensitive here, I try very hard to give you guys accurate expectations of success and want nothing but the best outcome for everyone in terms of swaying, safety, sanity, etc. It just isn't a guarantee. Wish I could make it happen for everyone but just seems to be that God/Mother Nature has different plans. :)

Most of us have gone through severe GD and we try to prevent this to happen to others..I was also overwhelmed by the results in this thread and kept my expectations little after Atomic insists everyone not to look into just one high wave trend...

I understand that and it is never my intent to pile onto anyone's GD or pain. I am always happy to help offer support to anyone who needs it. I am a human being and I have feelings and emotions too and it hurts - kind of a lot to be honest - to have charges of me being anything less than totally ethical laid out there for everyone to read. Particularly when I had those concerns all along myself, and tried very hard to keep this thread accurate and to keep people's expectations realistic. Particularly when I DO try to keep these threads as accurate as I possibly can. It puts me in a position I do not ever want to be in where I have to go back and prove my case for being honest and upfront with you guys. And I apologize for having to do that or if I could have done it more delicately - probably. I could have and should have done better with my response and I apologize.

The gyn was very sure today (18 weeks) that it’s a girl indeed and I also could see the labias and NO boy signs at all :))

She was born with the cord wrapped around her neck 3 times and a bit purple, but recovered really quickly. I was losing massive clots, my uterus wasn't contracting. Observations all over the place, especially BP which was why she was induced, it went dangerously high and heart rate. I had the clots removed and lots of oxytocin drip after the birth, really painful, was in intensive care a couple of times. The hospital were great, really looked after us. We're fine now, she's 8 weeks old.

Just found out tonight (panorama blood test results) that we are having a GIRL !!! Thank you so much, Atomic!!! I just posted my sway in the data entry form..thank you for the personalized plan - after two boys, 3 miscarriages, & one failed PG IVF attempt - I cannot believe it!!!!
