girl months and boy months

I know it's a ridiculous question but, how much does the season of conception affect the sex on the child? It would be great for us to start TTC girl in August. September - November is said to be "boy months". Since we are not in a hurry with TTC, would you recommend waiting for TTC until January 2019 instead?

I became pregnant with my sons in May and June ... which are said to be "girl months".

2nd boy december and 3rd boy July

It's minor, but was found in well-designed studies done by reputable sources (so this is not a hokey old wives tale thing, it was a seemingly legit finding). It's only a few percentage points and is easily overcome with other sway tactics but if you have the luxury of picking your month, it can't hurt to try in the girl months, that's for sure. I would TTC when it's right for you and your family, not worry about the months, unless it's possible to do that without any consequences otherwise (so if all things are equal and u don't care when you try, try in a girl month. otherwise let it go, it's not a big deal)

I got my daughter in boy months and 2 boys in girl months.

Also, keep in mind that this is in temperate climates only (4 seasons). Around the equator there are more girls conceived for reasons we can only guess at and the closer to the equator you are, the less the seasons likely matter.

I conceived my boys in February & January

I conceived my boys in February, May, and November. I’m not sure what the girl and boy months are, but so far I’ve had boys in 3 out of the 4 seasons!

August - boy
November - boy
December - girl
March - boy
December - boy/girl twins
December - girl
