Hi, just wondering if qourn is good to replace meat on le, or does it have just as much protein as meat and would we be better just having a small amount of meat? I don’t think I can cut it out compleatly but can have much less than I usually would although I don’t have loads anyway but have mince meat a couple of times a week and chicken.
Also wondered about a cup of tea or 2 in the morning with a splash of milk but think I’ve come across the answer now that it’s ok.

First day gone ok didn’t eat until 12pm then went the gym for 1 hr (well 55 mins as had to leave to pick kids up) just had my evening meal at 5.30pm and will have a glass of wine later.

I’d usually have a bit of chocolate in the evening, is that ok or a no go?

Not sure how I’ll go on but going to try and take it day by day, doing weight watchers (pro points) and trying to go by le concepts- skipping or delaying breakfast, low protein fat and cals, limiting meat.

It’s not going to be easy but after going back and forth for so long it’s come to a point and I’ve gotta give it a go. Trying to keep it fairly relaxed just encorpating the main things (diet, exercise, fibre, folic acid, poss clomid but nervous of that but do have it!) and not thinking about it too much and hope the next 12weeks flys by! I have my personalised plan to refer too also. Thanks

Thanks for reposting TF.

Quorn within limits of diet is fine and allowed. But small amounts of meat are ALSO fine and allowed within limits of the diet. You don't HAVE to go full vegetarian, you just have to stick in the limits of the diet.

I can't recommend tea for anyone, coffee has been better. I feel like tea has swayed blue and since it's not strictly necessary, it's one of those things that I suggest giving a pass. Some people want to continue with it and that's at their discretion but coffee will be best.

:agree: yes just treat the chocolate like a 3rd meal, a bedtime snack kind of thing. Both 2 and 3 meals are equally acceptable on LE Diet.

Just take it day by day and be sure not only that you're eating low protein, but that you are getting ENOUGH. The lower limits are more important than the upper ones because the lower limits prevent you from cutting back too far.

Clomid is the best of the best tactic there is! If you have Clomid I'd def. use it! Good luck and pink dust.

Thanks, think I read on here it’s best to get protein from plant based foods (realise this maybe beans etc though rarther than Qourn) rarther than meat, I can replace it with Qourn but not go without any form at all. So maybe I’ll check out the protein levels.
It’s a shame about the tea, I can’t stand coffee, I even tried to have some and just can’t stand the taste!
I did well yesterday didn’t even bother with the chocolate, I had the wine instead!
Thanks for your help x

no quorn checks out as a plant even tho it's a fungus, LOL

I know, I wish the tea was usable, but I've seen so many people who drank it and got boys even with great sways I feel very leery of it. :/
