Gender guesses please!!

The tech actually guessed girl....but everyone I've shown has thought boy!

Wait, the tech actually guessed girl?! That second picture looks like a penis and testicles to me... that first one would have to be a PRETTY swollen vulva!

That was my thought! I don't have any more pictures. She only looked at it from this angle for two minutes, no between the legs or under bum angle.

Will you be having more scans to be able to confirm? I personally don't think I would be comfortable with her girl guess from those pics but I'm not an expert. How come she didn't look in between the legs?

Unless I go late my midwife doesnt require any more scans. Of course I love my baby either way but it is nice to know for sure. I think it looks like it could be a boy....are there any techs on this board that have an opinion?

Oh i forgot to answer.... I'm not sure why she didn't look between the legs. I tried asking more questions and she looked at this angle for maybe a minute or two and said it's definitely a girl. It's just weird that more than 90% of the people I've shown have said boy.

I agree with the other ladies and think boy too. It looks too bulky between the legs if you know what I mean. Still, it's not the best picture and I'm honestly surprised the tech would give you a definite girl guess solely based on that pic.

I think most guesses have come to that conclusion because of the angle it just makes it that little more harder/confusing to tell :) Make sure you let us all know when you know :)

They're just not good pictures for guessing.

Techs can be wrong, but they see WAY more than we do and if s/he looked at the genitals for a while and guessed girl at 23 weeks, they should be able to see by that point.

I think the pics are terribly misleading and I couldn't guess on them.

What's weird is it was done as an elective ultrasound at a private business run by one woman, I got it about a month ago and decided to text her from my other number so she didn't have the biased view having looked at them and sent only these pictures and she said "that's a girl."

Yes. I texted her these photos that she scanned a month ago from another number to see if she would change her mind, as if they were from a random person just based off these pictures and she replied that's a girl.

Yeah, I'd not put much stock into any guesses at this stage based on that info. I hope you hear what you're hoping for!
