Hi Atomic, I'd like to get your advice please. I had a loss at 5 weeks in August then a loss at 6 weeks in January this year (possible ectopic) and now I'm just going through what I think is a chemical. I've had faint positives that are now getting fainter but no bleeding yet.
I'm wondering what else I can do? I'm not on le diet anymore, just eating healthily. I'm taking a pre natal vitamin, extra folic acid and ubiquinol. The only things I'm doing sway wise is no breakfast, mostly vegetarian (I eat chicken occasionally) and I take fibre when I eat a very fatty meal.
I feel like time is running out as I'm 41 now. I am grateful for advice from anyone, thank you [emoji4]

So sorry to hear about your losses. Have they talked about doing a recurrent loss blood panel for you to see if they can find out why you are having MCs? I would suggest that to see if there is an auto immune thing going on or something else. Sadly, it could just be something happening because of age, but I would for sure check everything. ((((HUGS))))

Thank you for your reply [emoji4] I'm going to make an appointment next week with the gp and hopefully now it's happened 3 times they may do some testing. This time has really affected me, I'm struggling mood wise and not coping well at the moment [emoji17]

Oh I'm so sorry to hear this.

Switch from folic acid to folate.

How much ubiquinol?

I want you on atomic fertility diet instead of being just vegetarian. We may need to get you on a lower carb diet to improve egg quality http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-a-girl-best-practices/1865-swaying-under-special-circumstances-part-1-blood-sugar-issues.html?1865-Swaying-under-special-circumstances-Part-1-Blood-sugar-issues= Vegetarian diets can sometimes be overly carby and so you need to switch over to a healthier diet for your eggs.

:agree: I do think you should go in, just prepare yourself that they may be very negative for your prospects and resist testing you. Sounds liek you are in the UK? We have had some trouble there getting even very basic levels of investigations done if you're over 40 and have kids already. Just go in not expecting anything and then hopefully your GP will be one of the cooperative ones.

Yes uk, doctors are very reluctant to do tests as I have two healthy boys.
I'm taking 100mg ubiquinol. I've just ordered some folate, how much do you recommend? This one is 400. Do you think I should try b vitamins? My lp is on the low side, 10 days or so.
I will definitely try the fertility diet, thanks for the link. My diet at the moment is very carb heavy. I don't eat fish so am I ok to just to eat more chicken?

Up ubiquinol to 400.

Folate - 2000 mcg daily so 5 of those, spaced evenly over the day. do this all thru the entire first trimester of pregnancy and then gradually wean back to the amount in a prenatal by spacing doses further and further out till down to one extra per week then drop (this should take about 3 weeks)

If you're eating a relatively balanced diet (and on atomic fertility diet, you will be) you don't need to add in B Vitamins and in fact the high doses of B6 in particular can really muck up your cycle. If you must take something I'd rather see you add in a Women's One a Day 2-3 times a week instead of a B Complex.

10 day LP is long enough to conceive and the full fat dairy and eggs on the AFD will help lengthen that.

Yes it's fine to just have chicken.
