Positive OPK CD7?? Vitex

Gm! so this is our third month ttc and i was getting a little anxious so I started Vitex on CD 1, which helped me conceive last time. It is CD 7 today and I got a positive OPK!! I usually ovulate C 17! Am I getting a false positive? I also took a CB and got an empty circle, but it was my first one and I've read that it needs something to compare to. Can I possibly be ovulating this early? Wouldn't the egg not be ready?? I'm still spotting from my period! (Sorry tmi!)

Just throwing in my experience, when I was swaying for my 5th baby I had a positive opk on cd5 which I got successfully pregnant from, I had a healthy boy. So it is definitely possible. I would bd just in case.

I thought I was out for the month too so was very surprised that I got pregnant. No I wasn't, I was just doing le diet with fibre, nothing else. You're welcome!

Yes, that is likely a false positive and vitex can cause that.

Do you have PCOS?

I would not bank on ever having a real surge CD 5-7. Odds are slim

Ok, that's what I thought, it was just confusing to see it so early! No, no PCOS.

If you don't have PCOS then it's likeliest that the Vitex is causing false pos OPK. You may want to consider BD every 4/5 days instead of relying on the OPK. :)
