Hi all! I just had my 12 week scan at 12w5d and the tech seemed quite convinced it was a girl (much to my complete surprise because I was sure I'd just have another boy). I've been researching a bit and it definitely seems girly but is it too early to tell really? Is there a chance it will rise? 39149

Classic girly nub! I'd be super surprised to find out bub wasn't a girl!

The nub looks very girly but of course it's still early. FX for pink!

Thanks everyone. It's a bit of a surprise to be honest as I was just assuming boy. I think part of me is convinced there will be a penis there by the 20 week scan haha. I don't mind either way but it's fun to think it could be a different gender. Is it common for it to change at this point or be wrong?

I wouldn't announce to the world that you are having a girl or go crazy buying pink as it is still early. However, your scan pics were pretty obvious and since you are close to the 13 week mark (when the 'guesses' become a lot more reliable) I would expect for you to hear girl at 20 weeks. Good luck

Thanks everyone, it's really fun to know just how early it can be evident! I'll update when we have our 20 weeks scan

For my dd I was told girl at exactly that many weeks and it was correct. At that many weeks and closer to 13 weeks is unlikely to change especially if is a flat girly nub. Congrats!

And I agree I wouldn't go shopping or start announcing gender until you know for sure at your 20 week scan.

I had my morphology scan today and she's definitely a girl!
I don't have pictures yet as they're sending me the disc in the mail. Thanks for all your guesses!
