I read on someones post that you don't beleive in the supps (cal/mag etc) can you please tell me where the link is that explains your views about this. I can only find the post where it lists all of the recommended ones.
Thanks so much

hoping atomic will chime in but I saw that post you are referring to and I think people get the idea that this site is against supps because unlike IG it is recommended not to go overboard on vitamins like D and E as more nutrients tend to sway pink, also cranberry has a lot of nutrients so atomic recommended baby aspirin instead for me one time. I can't find the link but atomic wrote a great article about calcium/magnesium. There isn't a lot of evidence that it sways and as atomic points out nearly all animals crave salt and some cultures are largely lactose intolerant yet birth statistics still seem to be 50/50.
I would be interested to hear exactly what supps AS would recommend and the dosage.

The calcium threads are worth a read (there are 3 in total and carmella gave you the link to the first one so you can follow them through).
The Oxford Study (the one which found more breakfast cereal = more boys) found that higher nutrients across the board = more boys and less nutrients = more girls - and that particular study wasn't even looking at gender specifically but just happened across this link.
The Trivers Willard hypothesis is also something we're trying to take in to consideration with the High/Low Everything diets. Briefly, this is that a boy needs more resources to survive until birth and beyond and ultimately to provide you with grandchildren but a girl doesn't need those resources to go on and conceive and produce grandchildren. When times are good and the mother has access to plenty of nutritious foods a boy would therefore make sense and when times are hard a girl would be a better option. When we're doing the girl diet we're trying to convince our bodies that times are hard and the extra nutrients from supplements may counteract this.

abit, did you have any more q's after reading that???
Carmella, here is my original blog from my swaying days which spells out a lot of my views and where they are coming from - it's LONG but really the first few posts explain a lot.

Supps I recommend are 1200-2000 mcg folic, a fiber supp with meals, baby aspirin 2 x a week up to every day if you tolerate it ok, aspartame 2-3 glasses a day, vitex (800-1200) and SP (320) from AF-O, zyrtec and/or benadryl with attempt.

This might be a silly question but what does SP stand for?

Saw Palmetto - it's for lowering testosterone.
