Hi Atomic!
Do you think it’s a good thing to have potatoes daily while ttc pink?

I found it very hard to eat enough calories while keeping within the protein limit for me.
Potatoes seem like a rescue for me since I can cook them in advance and store in the fridge. Plus they keep me full for longer :)

I personally had potatoes most days of the week, jacket potatoes with salad usually, and I know atomic says that her daughter is like 70% potato lol so I wouldn't be worried about eating them every day. I don't know if my sway has worked yet or not but I'm pregnant with twins so hoping to have at least one girl in there :-) good luck.

As much as potatoes are thought of as a boy food because of the potassium, that's old school. Potatoes are still starchy carbs that I think can be perfect for an LE sway. Fries were one of my more common vices before DD ;)

Potatoes daily are fine. I ate them CONSTANTLY when I got my DD, I like to joke she is 30% potato.

I have a full explanation of why potatoes, bananas, tomatoes are NOT BOY FOODS in this thread http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-a-girl-best-practices/62533-le-diet-faq-2-mineral-madness-edition.html

I would not be surprised if it was 70%. I ate them at least one time a day, just a good easy LE diet lunch or dinner.

I completely agree with you, it made the diet a lot easier for me as somehow they never got boring, although I will say I don't tend to eat them much now I'm no longer swaying

Agree, I eat it with salt and herbs or as oil-free fries from the oven (only a little oil sprinkled above) together with other oven baked veggies and sugar-reduced ketchup, or cold with some vegan butter or with vinegar as a potato salad ...I love them!

And as I said it’s easy to eat it daily, and they don’t have protein which is hard for me not to overdo with other carbs like bread and pasta.

Plus, some evidence indicates they are less aggravating to any underlying PCOS-tendencies which means they may be better for your sway than a bunch of white bread anyway. :)
