Average is 3-6 months which is well within the normal timeframe of TTC. We've had quite a few ladies though who conceived the first month or two and some who have taken several months or more. Most take about 3-6 months though. When I was swaying, we conceived 3 times but I miscarried each time. We conceived our sticky baby after 7 months TTC. For reference it took us about a year to conceive ds1 and 2 months for ds2 so within a normal amount of time for us.

Yep! That's right we have an average 3 months to conception. This is right in the wheelhouse of normal, with fully fertile couples doing nothing to sway taking 3-6 months on average to conceive.
It depends in part on how strict a sway you plan to do. If you end up using a lot of tactics that cut odds of conception then it's going to take you longer than someone who focuses only on the things that work the best like diet, exercise, one attempt.
To answer your question it took me 6 months with my DD. My boys I got in 1-2 months.

I only did diet, exercise, fibre and one attempt and I got pregnant on my 2nd month of trying, first attempt I had just come off BCP and I don't think it was a well timed attempt as I didn't get a pos opk, so was just shooting in the dark basically. The fact I got pregnant so quickly makes me nervous as it feels like I couldn't have lowered my fertility that much to get pregnant so easily. But you hear all the time of women who have one nights stands and have a girl so I'm clinging onto that for now lol.

Lots of people get girls the first or second month out. "Lowered fertility" doesn't always mean you can't get pregnant within a month or two, it just means "doing things that reduce your chances somewhat" :)

That’s good to hear atomic...I too conceived my two boys on the second month both the times...but I used preseed both the times...this time I will just have to keep in mind the diet , exercise and cutoff in my sway plan....feeling somewhat very nervous though....6 months is not bad really

Got it atomic...I’m mainly thinking of diet and exercise...

I did a very relaxed sway when I conceived my daughter and my strongest tactic was probably taking clomid, and luckily we fell pregnant on the 1st cycle. But I conceived my 2 boys on the 2nd cycle.

Did you have any side effects from the clomid?

Thank you for this. I know this is the case but its nice to hear other people say it as well. My first 4 pregnancies I didn't actually try at all, didn't track ovulation or do opks, just dtd whenever and I still got pregnant quickly, one being my daughter so I know it happens, I guess after 3 boys in a row though you start to doubt things.

Granted I wasn't intentionally swaying (but followed an extreme LE lifestyle unknowingly), but fell pregnant first cycle trying. I am very fertile though.

I was pretty lucky when I took my clomid, only experienced very minimal side effects. I took them at 9.30pm at night so I suppose I slept through when I wouldve had some side effects. But I did wake up one night with a hot flush, apart from that, I got a bit achy and had pinchy pain in my ovaries but no more extreme than a normal ovulation, I also was a bit headachy and I lost my appetite a bit. But all of these were pretty mild side effects.
