Hi all, I am just curious how those of you without fertility issues are able get clomid? As far as I know, I do not have fertility issues so I am afraid to ask for it. Thanks!

The ones without fertility issues either:

1. Buy from internet pharmacies (this is the most common route). A little risky, but seems to be fine for most people. I can't recommend a pharmacy because I got from my Dr.

2. Buy from a friend who got a prescription from her Dr then got pregnant or had side effects. This is the ideal situation, but most people don't have such a friend.

3. Lie to their doctor. Go to a new gynecologist and say "I've had irregular periods since I was 12, and only get my period about 4 times a year. I've read about a medicine called Clomid, can I try it?" Depending on how thorough the gynecologist is, they might prescribe, or they might insist on running 1000 tests first and referring you to an RE.

If you're lying to your doctor anyway, it might help to say "my sister has the exact same issue, and her doctor said she has PCOS and prescribed her Clomid and she got pregnant right away!"

You guys can have great sways without Clomid, too. Clomid is not a magic bullet or a prerequisite!
