nothings ever perfect. my plan was to dtd tonight (cd15, on a full moon), then again cd16, then cd 17 (ovulation day).
but today so far ive been changing between creamy cm and ewcm, altho im not sure if my creamy is what creamy cm is.
it feels like ew, stretchy, ew like, but just not clear or irredescent. and i do get that clear irredescent ewcm.

hoping itll become clearer by tonight.
what do you guys think. should i wait? im really hoping to get PG this month..dont want to be on this diet anymore.

yes. last 2 cycles i was positive opk on cd 16 and 17. everythng else neg. but ppl HAVE gotten boys dtd'ing everyday for a week and surely they didnt have positive opks the whole week right? im justtrying to up my chances of getting pg while trying for a boy via diet...i dunno

I think it's the consistency that's important - so when you collect it on 2 fingers and pull them apart, does it stretch between your fingers iykwim?!

Do you usually O on the second day of OPKs? Maybe DTD tonight and if you get a + tomorrow stick to your plan but if you don't wait until the next day to DTD (when you'll hopefully have a +OPK) and then DTD after that also. That way, if your O is delayed this month you won't have DTD more than 3 times in a row and you'll have an another 48 hour abstinence in there to boost sperm count.

Actually, I think this is what I'd do to sway blue anyway - DTD every other day/48 hours and if you happen to O on one of the 'in between' days then stick in an extra DTD on that day!

yes it certainly does stretch between fingers. but ive been reading lately that ewcm is not only if it is stretchy but clear also. so that got me confused. bc mine is stretchy and cloudy/white at first until the day before O and O day, which thenit becomes clear. actually it alternates in the days leadiing to O (probably bc my hormones pulsate).

yes i do O on the 2nd poistive OPK.

ttc5, no eggwhites i decided not to use them. and i decided not to use preseed bc thats how i got my girls!!

Gizmo it can be confusing i had heaps of stretchy slightly cloudy cm 4 days before i actually O'd, so 1day before O & day of O it changed to a very clear & stretchy cm, but only a very small amount this is why i really thought i O'd 4 days earlier, so if you want to up your chances I'd go for it.

My understanding is that it's the stretchy that counts and not the color. I agree tho that your hormones can def. pulsate (I like that expression) and my thinking is, as long as you've seen SOME EWCM then you are good to go.

postive opk today on cd 18 for the 1st time...VERY late in O'ing..i wonder why..diet was teh same. anyway we dtd'd immediately after the +opk..will try more tomorrow. thx!

thanks guys. just an update, my cm turned pretty clear as O FINALLY approached on cd 19 (TWOO DAYS LATE????). so we dtd'd on cd 18 in aftrenoon after 1st positive opk, then dtd again that night bc i was having some MAJOR ewcm , didnt want to waste it. then cd 19 MAJOR holy O pains, like never before, and dtd'd that night also (positive opk that day as well). and negative opk today cd20. hope that was enough. poor dh said he ll never have sex again after that marathon!! ;-) gosh i hope that did it. if not, im goin on clomid. maybe ill get my twin boys that way

wow gizmo exactly the same thin happened to me! I got + on cd 18 and 19! very late! Only we did not dtd on cd18 when i got the most clear ewcm... but on cd 19 late night and now is cd20 and temps are up so it was only 1 try for us. I hope not to late and swayed pink...but my cervix is still HSO so don't know what's up with that did i O'd or not yet?
I hate swaying...

i hate swaying too flava. if temps are up id assume you did O on cd19. did you take an opk on cd20? for me too it takes a day for CP to become LFC..good luck!!!!!

thx, ive already started making plans for next month. i am so depressed right now. my husband is doing everything to make me happy. i just dont think it happened this month. absolutely no signs during my2 week wait. im really negative about this. i just want to do IVF. however there is no money for that. i dont know why im not getting preg. its only been 21 mos since last pregnancy/birth. and i know i sound spoiled bc ive only been on the diet since jul and this is only my 2nd attempt but im frightened that something is wrong...just have a feeling that my fertility has dropped. i just wish i knew what i knew 10 mos ago and tried then. also dh says maybe its BC of this diet since my body isnt isnt used to it that im not getting pg...? i dunno, alli know is i want a baby (maybe 2) and im depressed. sorry to vent
