Hi everyone. I went in for a quick 14 week ultrasound today. Baby is sitting at a beautiful heart rate and got to see it’s precious little kicks and squirms. I’m absolutely no good with the nub theory. Is it visible at all in my scan photo? Is it looking like a boy or girly nub? Any guess from those who know how to interpret it are welcome! I will post the photo below. I appreciate your input guys!

I'm not seeing a nub, I think it may not have been captured in this shot. Gorgeous little bug though!!!

Ohh really hey! Ah well. I guess I’ll just have to wait to find out. I thought the white line at the end might have been it... thanks atomic!

I'm not an expert at all but I've circled what I would've thought is the nub? In saying that I'm a little torn as looks slightly angled and short but we may not be seeing the full picture either and it does look flat'ish.. sorry I'm not much help at all lol. Do you have any more pics?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180426/2e95500e420ecfa7b84d67b2c9f44c2a.jpg

Yes yes! thats what I had originally thought was the nub too! Even though part of it seems to be blacked out but whatever that line is, its visible lol by "short and angled" is that indicating boy or girl? I cant decide if its angled to flat...Im not sure but think Atomic would know more than me though. I definitely thought exactly that part was though! Waaah, I wish I could know! hahaha And nope, I have no other shots :(

Short and angled would lean blue however it is flat and we may not be seeing all of it hence it could lean pink too. When I say angled I mean by only a very small amount which at 14 weeks I actually think it would be more pronounced come to think of it [emoji848] hmmm I'm gonna lean back towards pink now lol... tricky one for sure! When do you find out?!

Ahh I see! Well Im due for my anatomy scan May 30, so not long! I may very well have another ultrasound soon in two weeks as well just to monitor babes (I only had the 14 week one because I went in to my doctor and she could not find the heart beat with a doppler, but all was well!) Ill be 16 weeks if they do book me for that ultrasound , so Im not sure if they will tell me the gender at that time but I will ask! Praying for a healthy little babes, but I swayed hard for pink. I think Im just trying to waste time and find a silver lining in my very difficult pregnancy and would love to start calling its name instead of an "it" haha Thanks for your input hun! I decided to google images some more and undertstanding a bit more how the nubs are interpreted. If that line that you and I see is in fact the nub, then Im feeling it is leaning pink?? Ive attached a photo with my edit and it seems the angles of the spine and "nub" and straight to eachother (If I have done it correctly according to what I have seen on google) which seems girl?? I hope to find out soon 39398
