I was just wondering if your family has a history of boys, if that contributes in the likelihood that you will have a boy? My husband's side has 15 boys spanning through the generations and there is only one girl in the last four generations (my husband's aunt).

Does this effect the likelihood my husband or I are more "boy" prone?

Gender is not genetic in that way. I have a fuller answer here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/63044-family-history-boys-can-i-even-have-girl.html and here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/62289-can-family-history-predict-what-gender-child-you-will-have.html
