Hi everyone, I wasn’t sure where to find the 2ww for April so I decided to post here since I’m swaying pink. Dh and I dtd 5-6 days before ovulation and when I got my positive ovulation test. We were in Hawaii and I was very active went hiking and swam a lot. I feel like that could have ruined my chances of conception but we will see.
I have been having bad cramps and sharp pains in my pelvic area and also some back pain. I have 6 days until AF and I’ve never had these symptoms before AF esp not this early. If I’m not pregnant this cycle I’m going to see a doctor but was wondering if any of you ladies experienced this kind of pain before your BFP. Also I have been feeling dizzy, light headed and exhausted even tho I have been getting enough sleep and been relaxed. I’ve taken 3 preg tests and all BFN but then again they were taking very early 5-6-7dpo
With my last pregnancy I just had really tender breast and that’s what made me test.

I always had bad cramps in the tww when pregnant but I've also had a bunch of symptoms and not conceived. You tested super early, before it's possible for tests to be positive. FX you get a BFP soon!

Basically you can only have pregnancy symptoms when the blastocyst (the fertilized egg) implants into the uterus. Before that it has no connection to your body!! And also after that a pregnancy (blood) test could detect the first traces of HCG.
And this implantation only happens 7-10 days after ovulation..
So, what you‘re feeling is probably the wish of being pregnant. Which I can totally understand, I always had those when we were ttc all the month before my BFP :D

Yes I agree I did test too early that’s why I didn’t get my hopes up too high but I tested with an ovulation test today bc that’s all I had and I read that ovulation test can also pick up pregnancy, it was an almost positive ovulation test so that’s pretty crazy to have a positive ovulation at this point in my cycle when I already had a positive about 8-9 days ago. Again won’t get my hopes up too high Bc if I’m not pregnant it’s okay on to the next cycle. Will keep you guys updated tho.

I agree I could be symptom spotting, that’s what I did my last cycle but I didn’t have any of these symptoms tho only nausea. I guess it’s just the waiting game now lol

5-7 DPO would not be late enough to get a positive pregnancy test. But I concur with Linni that it's also too early to be having symtpoms (7 DPO isn't, but 5 is)
I have had a couple of pregnancies that started off with horrendous cramps and one in which I was very dizzy. Several have started with extreme exhaustion.
I have pretty bad O-related cramps and sometimes do get them after ovulation. But since the pain seems to be quite severe, keep an eye on it and if it worsens be sure to get in to the doc just to be on the safest side. It could possibly be a cyst or a uterine infection and both of those can cause trouble so at any point if you're just feeling like things are not right, better to get it checked.

Thank you, it seems like my symptoms are dying down, they arnt as bad anymore. Still have the pelvic pain tho so that makes me feel like I might have a cyst or something, especially since I had the IUD in for almost a year and I heard they can cause cysts. I'm also having shoulder pain its close to the tip but its manageable. I know that's a sign of ectopic preg but I'm not even that far along, I thought shoulder tip pain was the result of a ruptured tube. I really hope that if I am pregnant its not an ectopic pregnancy, that would suck! This seems like to be the longest 2 weeks of my life!

Well, the reason why you have shoulder pain with an ectopic is because there are nerves that are connected so you can have pain in your shoulder from other traumatic events in that area. My inclination is for you to get it checked. Cysts can get twisted (torsion) and this is a medical emergency that needs intervention becaue you can lose your ovary or even your life.

Took a test this morning and AF is due in 4 days, does this look like a strong positive for 10-11 dpo? Still weird how my symptoms died down

That's a BFP baby!! That IS a pretty good one for that early imo.
For what it's worth -- and I know I am definitely not a good person to base on considering all my losses -- I'm about 5 weeks and have had virtually no symptoms. But I've had strong symptoms relatively early with many losses. I am growing more and more convinced that symptoms are random as hell and have nothing to do with anything we think (like hormones, lol).

1)Completely agree re: symptoms being random. I have talked to SOOOOO many people now and people are all over the map and there just is no predictable trend!
2)AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA FXFXFX Panther!! :bluecheer:

Yes that's a BFP! I wouldn't worry about if it's "strong" or not, it's all about the concentration of hormone in your urine at this point and that can vary quite a bit at this stage. Good luck and pink dust headed your way!

@atomic sagebrush Thank you! I swayed pink but didn't do as hard of a sway the month I conceived. We were on vacation so ate lots of fattening foods. Nothing I can do about it now, will have to wait until Day of Birth to find out since we will be team green this time. It's going to be a long 9 months!
