View Full Version : How do you ladies cheat on LE diet? :)

Hi there!
I wanted to know how you understood cheating - as I often read in sways „I never/often/.. cheated“.
Does it mean taking a day off of diet? Or just snacking in between? Or come over the daily limits?
I honestly am not the type of strict diet woman, and never was. I try to stay at 2100-2200 cals because my BMI drops slowly but constantly. But sometimes the fat intake is over 60mg or I‘m invited to some party where I stop tracking food after realizing I‘m over all limits.. [emoji85]
But I try to not overreact because I think forcing myself to NOT eat that cake or tracking food super strict would sway blue for me anyway :)

People define cheating in all sorts of ways - some people want to avoid whole entire food groups LOL but others are about keeping in the limits. I consider cheating only exceeding the limits and not food choices.
:agree: the kind of self-control it requires to avoid foods always (not to mention the stress of people wondering "why isn't she eating that?") would only sway blue. That is mostly why I say that cheating is not only allowed but encouraged. It is all taken into consideration when I made the diet because back on Ingender I would see these people get so worked up over every morsel of food and those were almost always the people who got opposites anyway!
I actually have a complete guide to cheating on diet here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/62454-guide-cheating-blue-pink.html

Thanks, I‘ve already read that, but was still unsure if everyone (or only me?) cheats now and then and gets over the daily (mostly calorie) limits... I‘m still rather sure that my diet will sway pink because I‘m losing weight, but there are those days when I eat too much sweets and go over the limits ;)
Still trying to have only 2-3 meals though, which is a huge change to my normal diet :)

The month I conceived my girl, I had roast beef... cake, and ice cream, and hotdogs. Lol I was a mess so glad I conceived that cycle. That’s what I consider cheating. Had hamburgers and steak a few times too.

Congrats on your daughter [emoji4]
You mean for you cheating was eating food from your „personal forbidden list“? [emoji3]

Granted I was very severe before my DD, but I often went over 60g of fat (my protein was always what was specifically low), and occasional high calorie days. In the fitness world I was deep into at the time, a "refeed day" often led to MORE weight loss!
And sweets scare ME -- I worry I had too many around Easter right before this pregnancy since I consider them so girly that they feel like serious HE cheats!! So they don't seem like LE cheats to me haha

I had the occasional cheat when swaying but like Atomic says, often our cheats are still nowhere near as bad as when we conceived our boys. Usually if I did cheat I'd go over a bit on fat or cals, like I'd have pie or cheesecake. I didn't ever cheat with extra meals, just would eat a food I might not normally eat or splurge on calories/fat.

I see...!
And the information with the „refeed day“ makes totally sense to me!
After DS2 I tried to lose some extra pounds and although I was BF a loooooot and not eating sugar or extra fatty food I didn‘t lose weight for months. Very frustrating!
The greatest weight loss I experienced was when I was eating normally again and didn‘t BF that much anymore! :) I even went under my prior-conception weight.

Not purposely at all -- I desperately wanted a boy but didn't know anything about swaying! I did a textbook EXTREME sway for a girl though haha!

I eat extra fat when I cheat, I try to make it PUFA fat though. I very very rarely go over with protein though. I find it difficult to get the 50-60g. If I get to the end of the day and I am low, I make lentils and rice to get my protein number up.
I stopped eating red meat in November and only have eaten it two times in December around Xmas. After that, I decided to be strict about red meat. I miss it. I was a HUGE red meat lover before. Hamburgers, roast beef or ham sandwiches for lunch, sausage for breakfast with eggs. I am salivating just thinking about it.
