Yes
If yes to diet, which one did you most follow? LE(Low Everything) PCOS

Comments regarding DW's diet changes-
I started skipping breakfast and limiting calories to 1800 cal/day in June 2017. In November I started sticking to the limits for prot and fat (50-60 g). I ate loads of whole grain spelt pasta and bread and also a lot of potatoes. I followed mainly the LE PCOS diet, although I don't have PCOS. I'm vegetarian anyway and had two meals a day, lunch at approx. 12 am and dinner at approx. 6 pm.
If diet was used, length of time before attempt?
Approx. 9 months
Did you skip breakfast regularly?
Yes

No
Comments regarding DH's diet-
-
DId you consume alcohol? A couple of drinks per week

DId you try to limit caffeine?
No, I drink caffeine regularly
Any Diet Details?
I drank 3-4 cups of coffee a day, but I didn't make the coffee that strong. After a chemical in the month before my bfp I replaced half of my normal coffee powder with decaf coffee as I was worried that too much coffee could contribute to pregnancy losses.
Any Diet Comments/Additional Info?
I didn't drink alcohol in the tww and had a glass of wine maybe eod in the other time.
WEIGHT AND EXERCISE
What did you weigh/BMI do leading up to O?
65 kg / 143 lbs. BMI 22

I lost 14 kg / 30 lbs during the 9 months dieting

I walked on a treadmill 5-7 times a week since Nov 2017

DH pH

How many BD attempts did you make for the BFP cycle?
1
BD Dates according to Ovulation 3 Days Before O

Any additional comments?
Not sure if it was 2 or 3 days before ovulation. I had a positive opk at 11 am (was negative earlier that day) and my temp went up the next morning already. I had to get up several times that night though so that might have increased my temperature. I think it's more likely that I ovulated the day after my positive opk and that would have been 3 days after our attempt.

DH Info about Swimmers Other

I got up and went to the toilet after 10-15 min, but not much came out (tmi). So maybe it was too late for j&d already?

Any additional supplement info?
I took femara 2.5 mg CD4-8. It was my first cycle on femara. I decided not to take fibre because of the high amounts of fibre from all that whole grain spelt I ate.

Things that make me feel great about my sway:
Long time on diet, exercise, coffee, 1 attempt and femara
Things that make me nervous about my sway:
My prot was always on the higher side of the limits and some days even at 61 or 62 gram. I hope it doesn't matter. I drank about a cup of milk a day that I added to my coffee. So around 50 ml of milk in each coffee, what is probably more than we should add. I tried to drink two coffees shortly after each other in the morning and the other two before and after lunch, but wasn't so strict on that.
Things worth mentioning:
I started with a light sway in summer of last year and as time went by and hubby wasn't ready to tcc yet I began to think about what else I could do and started adding things like exercise, femara, alcohol and more coffee (normally I drink 80% milk, 20% coffee and the last months before my bfp it was the other way around). Now that I write everything down it seems quite ridiculous how much I ended up doing when my intention was only to do a light sway ;-) But my initial feelings didn't change over time: I would love to have a girl and wanted to try what I could, but I would also love to have a little boy. I'm sure we will get the perfect child for our family! :-) I got my bfp in March and my last scan was yesterday at 8 weeks where we saw a little bean with a flickering heartbeat.

Thank you so much ladies! [emoji173]️ I'm still debating with myself if I should do a NIPT test at 10 weeks. Finding out gender still seems like a "luxury problem" to me because I'm still worried and hoping so much that baby is healthy. But I know that will change quickly once we managed to get through the first three months, so I think I will go for the NIPT test to have the results at 12 weeks.

Congratulations on your little boy Verena! I am always so happy to see moms still happy and in love with opposites even before birth. And very happy to hear baby is healthy since I saw you had a loss before this bean <3

Do you mind me asking how many weeks/days you were when you had the NIPT done?

Thank you all so much for your kind words! [emoji813]️ I was really afraid of very bad GD because I had that with DS2. And now it is even clear that there won't be another try.

Atomic once wrote that she thinks families with many kids of the same gender are pretty cool because they would be known everywhere as the xyz (insert last name) brothers/sisters. Like the Dalton brothers lol. Somehow that stuck in my mind and I'm looking so much forward to that [emoji4]

The older DS1 and 2 are getting, the more I realize that gender is just one facet of thousands. Maybe that's why I'm not feeling GD so strong this time. I'm so curious to see how this little man will be compared to his brothers, since DS1 and 2 are sooo different already.

TP the blood was taken at 10w1d and the results came back one week later exactly. Maybe what also helped against GD is that I got the results of the chromosomal testing at the same time. When I was calling for the results the nurse told me the results were there, but she wasn't allowed to tell me and I would have to wait for the doctor to call me back. I died a thousand deaths in that 30 min and when he called I was almost sure that he would tell me the baby was not healthy. So the relief about normal chromosomes was so big that gender only was a side note for me. I read about your dilemma about finding out gender and I hope you find the best solution for you and your family [emoji813]️ It's really tough. Now I can say that finding out early via NIPT was the right thing for me, but I honestly was not sure about that at all until I heart the results yesterday.

Sorry for the long text. Feels like a goodbye, though I will be around and follow your other ladies' journeys for a while. Last but not least I'd like to thank atomic for all her fantastic support and never losing patience about me lol. [emoji6][emoji253]
