Probably a stupid question about EWCM

Just wondering why this is considered not so good? If Shettles has been disproved and the EWCM helps the swimmers why would this be a bad thing? I must have missed something big!

We theorize that higher numbers of sperm (ALL sperm both X and Y) at the egg end up with more Y being conceived. So lots of EWCM = lots of sperm surviving to make it to the egg, possibly swaying blue.

We don't know this for a fact and it may be that microscopic changes in the CM that we can't see with our naked eye is sending some signal to the sperm that we can't see that sway in some way. But that's what the theory is. Anything that makes it a little harder for sperm to meet egg sways pink. :)
