I have a really sweet tooth and need to have dessert after my main meal..... otherwise watching DH demolish a magnum ice cream would be torture!
Am I right in thinking that I should avoid ice cream and yogurt because of dairy? I have read a lot of posts on here from women doing the LE diet who say they hardly eat any dairy anymore?? I’m a bit confused as I have been eating a small amount of cheese most days. Aside from a small bit of cheese I have a tiny bit of skimmed milk in my coffee. I have been eating low fat yogurts/ ice cream for dessert so I need to know whether I need to axe the latter.
I have lost 37 pounds on the diet since January so I’m happy with how things are going overall with weight loss - I just don’t want to be messing up my sway in other areas eg dairy.

As long as it fits into your protein/fat goals, you can have it! I had ice cream several times right before conceiving DD!

Thank you ladies. It’s hard not to get swept up in what other people say/ do with regards to the diet. I shall continue as I have been especially as it means I can keep eating the odd ice cream [emoji3]

The only thing that matters on LE Diet is sticking in the limits (and really, not even that, as long as you're eating less overall than you were before you started swaying but are still eating enough so you aren't starving yourself)
Dairy foods are fine and allowed on LE Diet. They are NOT free and unlimited - as you probably know on some sites they consider dairy foods "all you can eat" and claim this sways pink, but it doesn't. But there is a huge gulf between eating unlimited amounts of dairy (and in fact forcefeeding oneself dairy they don't even want!!) and eating absolutely no dairy at all whatsoever.
I had cheese and yogurt when I was swaying; as it so happened to work out right before I conceived I hadn't been eating much of it but I don't think that is why I got a girl at all, just happened to go that way for me. I have seen gobs of people get girls still eating dairy (even full fat dairy, which I have everyone on the alternate diet and who has been having irregular cycles, eat!)

That is honestly a huge reason why we started this site though - people tend to encourage each other to get stricter and stricter over time till everyone is living on rice cakes and Crystal Light. It's not necessary to do those things and you can harm your health, your fertility (temporarily) and your sway being too restrictive. Starvation and deprivation doesn't make your sway work any better and may even make it worse by making you control-freaky and additionally if ovulation stops and you have to basically sway blue just to get your cycle going again!

I think you would benefit from eating full fat cake, Noemi!!

I love reading all this! Atomic you’re the best.
Just curious, I have lost all the weight I can & am keeping it stable, but I noticed you said we should be eating less than before we started Le...( I’m on your fertility diet)
I kinda feel like I eat more but it’s pretty much all Veges & the free & unlimited stuff.
Is that still ok?
I do have rice, quinoa, cruskits, nuts, dairy, minimal chicken, salmon, egg whites and maintain the limits really easily but I’m just wondering is it possible I’m eating too many veges?

Nope. Since we made the veg free and unlimited our results have gone up and stayed up and some of the people who were eating the most veg got girls, while those who were totally avoiding them got boys. Keep eating veg!

I go by the thread called something along the lines of ‘magic foods for blue & pink’ have a search or someone maybe clever enough to link it!?
I eat heaps of zucchini, eggplant, capsicum, cauliflower, pumpkin (which I’m sure is winter squash) cucumber, iceberg lettuce, mushrooms, leeks
Plus others like white potato &carrot but I include that in calorie limit

Ah, yeah. I always have tons of lettuce (no iceberg though, can’t stand the „bite“ feeling..), cucumber, bell peppers, cauliflower and broccoli in the fridge :)
I even eat more greens and veggies than before my sway :D
I don’t think pumpkin is a free food because it’s starchy;)

It's Dream Members only so if you're a Dream Member you can look it up in the LE Diet secion of the DM
Winter squash is on the carbier side and you should prob. count cals in it but not protein and fat. It's a gray area though - it's still going to be wayyy better for you than something like sugar!

Daydreamer, sometimes when I have a sweet tooth and im close to my limits for the day, I'll have some sugar free instant pudding with some fat free cool whip on top. I've also made those two-ingredient cakes, like the one made with a box of chocolate cake mix and fat free Greek yogurt, or the one with angel food cake mix with crushed pineapple.
