Hi Atomic,
TTC Pink shortly and confused about sway strategy for frequency. I plan to stick to one attempt at insemination, as that's getting good results.

I will be likely ovulating in 3 days. Want to do 1 attempt with a 2 day cutoff at +OPK.
We started out with abstain strategy, and then we tried FR and sort of ended up half-assing both. I found your essay on Compressed FR as an emergency tactic to be spot on, with my situation.

So lets say at +OPK (or in my case it's close to O-2), I have DH release once and dump it. If I were to use the 2nd or 3rd batch for insemination, does it mean that DH needs to release like within a window of a few hours?

Thanks

On second thoughts...I'm doing the below already.
-Diet + Exercise + Lost few pounds
-One attempt only
-Cut off (DTD at +OPK)
-Will put DH in a hot tub to soak before DTD

Should I even attempt compressed FR or will I be lowering my odds of conception drastically?

Well, what you're describing is not compressed FR but hurry up FR (just to be clear.)

The thing with compressed FR (which was having hubby release 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days before having one attempt) is that most of the people who tried it, their husbands couldn't perform doing it and couldn't get pregnant that way. So the handful of results for compressed FR are only the people who were able to stick to it (and honestly, based on the subsequent 7 years of observation since I came up with the idea, I suspect that most of them were not actually able to do that anyway and what is listed as 'compressed FR' in our results was people who did not actually DO CFR!)

Literally NO frequency pattern has worked. Abstain has not worked, FR has not worked, and i believe CFR only looks like it worked because it was done with one attempt! And one attempt DOES work, but adding a bunch of stuff onto one attempt, simply cuts odds of conception with one attempt. So I really don't even recommend compressed FR any more.

Now, as for hurry up FR - don't use the 3rd batch (if he's even able to make a 3rd batch!) 3rd batch is only for people doing compressed FR and their batches are separated by many hours to allow the sperm to recover. Instead, it needs to be the second batch for hurry up FR and it needs to be preferably within one hour, 3 hours is ok, and 6 hours at the very latest. Now, if it goes longer than that before he's able to perform, I'd still have the one attempt, just that it's not in the window of hurry up FR any more.

Given the sway you're doing, I would not even bother with either CFR or hurry up FR. It is fine if you want to do one or the other of them, but we've all but given up frequency and our results have just gone up and up since we did. It is really, really very unlikely that frequency is doing much other than cutting odds of conception . Maybe if we studied frequency in 1000 people doing nothing else to sway, it might help a little bit, but when you're already swaying in many more effective ways, the frequency likely just gets swallowed up by the more effective things. After all, if you're only able to sway to 75% or so (since there seems to be a theoretical upper limit on swaying) and you already get there with diet, exercise, and one attempt, you could do 10,000 other things and you'd still only get to 75% and since they all cut odds of conception, by doing stuff that is not so effective, you only cut down your chances of getting pregnant with the things that are working well! I have an essay about this concept here: (third from the top called Factors Vs. Tactics) https://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/25293-three-essays-swaying.html

Thanks atomic! I think, I will drop the frequency tactic. Might as well throw in some romance into DTD! :)
As always, you are so very helpful and thorough in your responses. I appreciate everything you do, and I know you don't treat this as 'just a job'. I can see you truly want to help the thousands of women on this site! THANK YOU!

Atomic,
Another question - I tried Fiber supplements ( Metamucil). But it caused unpleasant side-effects of cramping, change in BM etc. So I gave up on Fiber for my pink sway. Do you recommend to add it back in, by trying another brand? If it's not a big sway tactic, I'd just drop it!

What you might want to do is try a different brand and then take a small dose. No one needs that huge dose on the bottle, that's for older people who are using it for health reasons. Just use a small dose with any food containing fat or fat soluble vitamins A D E K (mostly this will be in skim dairy or a salad with fat free dressing) If you don't eat fat or those nutrients, you don't need the fiber.
