Hi ,
Hope every one is well.
Its been a while but my partner and I were thinking about maybe having another child.
Here's a bit of back ground about me .
I joined this forum about 5 or so years ago hoping to conceive a girl.
I had a miscarriage in 2013.
After that I got seriously ill . No one knew what was wrong but I was constantly bleeding, passing out ,headaches etc.
In 2016 I was taken in to hospital and this time they found out I had a rupturing blood clot( doctors and hospital had missed this blood clot for nearly 3 years!) ... Also I was pregnant!! Despite being so ill!
I had given up TTC because I was so ill. I had been concentrating on trying to get well. I had been taking vitamin tablets like there was no tomorrow. Eating all the time as I had no energy and had been putting on weight by eating loads and not exercising.
I got told the baby probably would not make it .
Baby was monitored closely through out the pregnancy, blood clot went and our little boy was born by c section perfectly well. ( c section because of my health and because I had swelling of the brain some how caused by the blood clot. Our boy is just over a year and a half now and doing really well. He's absolutely wired though and never sleeps! So we are constantly tired!!
Anyway as it's been a while I just wanted to ask what is the latest on ttc a girl?
Thanks .x

Oh wow I'm so sorry you have been through all that! You are one tough mumma xx and I'm really glad your boy made it what a strong little guy!

I'm sure Atomic will pop on to help you but it's pretty much 12 weeks le diet or pcos version of diet, exercise 6+ times per week, clomid if you can get it, coffee, alcohol, skipping breakfast, no snacking just 2-3 meals per day and keeping to 1800 cals, and just one attempt in your fertile window at pos opk or via the dtd every 4 day method.
There are really amazing results with these tactics at the moment!

Wishing you all the best i hope you get your girl xx

Hi again! Was just thinking of you the other day and wondering how you were getting along! That happens a surprising amount of the time, I swear I am Gender Dreaming psychic LOL. :)

Can you bump this for me???? It's late here and I want to give you my best effort.

I am SOOO glad they finally got to the bottom of this! I had wondered and wondered about you so often even after your son was born, wondering if you were finally feeling better and I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling better!

Oh gosh a couple of my guys were like that too. Just never stopped! They do grow out of it eventually, although I found that they are still both night owls even into teen/adulthood. The good news is sleep deprivation sways pink!

would absolutely want you on the alternate atomic fertility diet here: https://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/62423-dedicated-atomic-fertility-diet-thread.html It's just overall healthier and better for blood sugar. We've even had better results than the standard diet too, which is great!

I also want you to take iron this time. I remember with all the spotting you had gotten anemic and we don't want that to happen this time. Are you already on any iron?? If so just continue with that. I also want you on folate as well (not folic acid) as you may tolerate that better. No alcohol or any blood thinning supplements other than what your doctor has you on, of course (cranberry, aspirin - they haven't worked anyway and would be harmful for you. Please clear all supplements with me before taking them.)

Mostly what we have found success with is just as kitten listed - diet, exercise, one attempt, Clomid or Femara if you can get them (I think Femara would be best for you but you'd absolutely need medical clearance for that!) For your partner, smoking and jogging or biking have been proven to sway. Olive leaf extract for him and soy milk for him ~may~ help a little but I am not sold on them the way I am for smoking, jogging, and biking. If he cuts back on meat, even going vegetarian or vegan that also may help.

So really, the things that have changed are more what we aren't doing, and not so much what we are. We've basically chopped out various things that don't work, cut odds of conception, and have side effects and risks. This is allowing us to get far better results (since many times people go on a few months not conceiving doing things that don't even work, and then give up things that DO work as a result!) in much less time (about 3 months to conception, identical to the norm for people who are not swaying.)

I'm here to answer whatever q's you have!
