We are likely going team green but couldn't help asking for nub guesses as we won't find out gender at anatomy scan. I know 11w6 days is really early for a nub guess and unreliable but would love any guesses from those of you in the know. 39790

Thank you for your guess, hoping for girl but don't want to get my hopes up.

I want to say girl, but this is so, so early, that could definitely rise. Any chance you'll get another scan soon? Hoping you get your girl <3

It's just too early for guesses because boy and girl nubs look the same at this point. It could definitely rise or it could stay flat, just too soon to tell. FX for pink!

Thanks for your replies. I know it is too early and I chose to have the scan early rather than see a confirmed boy nub again. I won't find out gender I don't think, will now just wait - at least I have hope this time, which could be a bad thing, but I really struggled with my pregnancy with DS2 once I saw his clear boy nub at 13 weeks so this time I wanted to not know for sure. It's going to be a long 28 week wait from here!

Any other guesses? I know it's early but still keen to know what everyone thinks.

as it sits here and now it looks girly. Now that's certainly better than what some of us have seen at 11+6 which is a ginormous ding dong, but many, many babies can still look girl and have the nub rise (which is why I don't make "official" guesses this early) So, for right now, it looks girly (hey, better than it looking boyly, LOL) we just don't want you to trust that it will stay that way.

Long story short, it's encouraging for now but is still 50-50. :)

Thanks atomic, it is very different to either of my boys (looking back at DS1 scan at 11w6d he looked boyish) and DS2 was all boy at his 12w3d scan but after lots of reading and listening to you all here I know not to get my hopes up but at least 50/50 is better than 100% boy. Regardless of gender I know Bub will be loved, just really hoping beyond hope this is our little princess.

OMGosh Kel - how did you end up finding out?? I thought you were going Team Green?? Did you have the baby?

Was going to go team green but my anxiety over the gender got so bad I wasn't sleeping barely at all and with a placenta issue identified at the anatomy scan I have needed to have some extra scans so decided I needed to find out to give myself time to process the likelihood of another boy before he was born. I feel like the biggest weight has been taken away from me with finding out. I couldn't have lasted another 16 weeks without knowing and also with scans every 4 weeks was worried I would see gender anyway so just wanted it confirmed.

Thank you. So relieve to finally know one way or the other, thought team green was originally best for me but realise it really wasn't helpful to my mental state at all. Hoping Bub makes it to at least 35 weeks before we meet her as having a few issues with placenta but just keeping everything crossed we get to keep our little princess.
