Hello ladies

I am trying a girl sway, but struggling with the diet a bit. The food has been ok but I'm having a hard time hitting my calories for the day. I'm sitting around 1200-1400 calories most days, and think I should be at least 1500. The problem is I don't want to have much sugar so I find the empty calories are tough to get.
Any tips or great food ideas?
I should also mention that with the 1200-1400 calories I'm still hitting 1000 mg of sodium[emoji19].

Thanks for your help!

Fruit, higher carb vegetables like potatoes, whole grains, nuts will all give you a fair number of cals without sugar (well, they have sugar, but not SUGAR sugar LOL). Also, an overlooked source of calories are fat. Are you getting 30+ g of fat a day?? You can have up to 60 g and so if you've been having a lot of fat free foods, just by switching over to full fat you'll gain some much needed calories.

Most of us totally gave up the sodium restriction and our results have only gone up since we did. Even if you just eased back SOME if limiting it is important to you, you'll still be well below the horrific amount recommended by the mineral balancing diets for blue sways (5000-6000 mg for boys is the recommendation!!) I have a full explanation of sodium for swaying in this thread: https://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-a-girl-best-practices/62533-le-diet-faq-2-mineral-madness-edition.html

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm looking things over right now.
If my numbers are right my potassium is under 1000....is that enough?
My fats are around 52 grams a day and my protein is around 35g-42g daily...
I'm just feeling week this week and so I don't want to go back into adrenal fatigue or anything like that.
I'm seriously alternating eating the same things lol I'll have to add some of your suggestions
This is my diet
Hummas and cucumber
Scrambled eggs with salsa and corn tortilla
Egg salad with toast
Apples
Oatmeal
Coffee cream and sugar
Crystal lite
Salad
The odd yogurt
Sometimes steak and potatos in small amounts.

The numbers on potassium are very very often inaccurate because potassium does not need to be listed on labels. So many foods will have quite a lot of potassium and then you'll think there is none because it's not on the label. I would try Self.com to look up basic levels of potassium in foods and you'll soon see you're getting more than you think.

You need to be getting 40-50 g protein a day NOT COUNTING the protein in fruits and vegetables (including potatoes). So you will need to boost that up some.

Most people give up on oatmeal since there's a chemical in it that may boost testosterone. Now personally I doubt that amounts to anything unless you were taking it in supplement form, but most people do decide to skip it.

Everything else looks great to me. Just need more protein!
