Hi atomic
I'm 14 dpo, and had one attempt at pos opk. Both me and DH are 30, with no fertility issues.

12dpo
I had a bit of pink spotting at 12 dpo late afternoon, just enough to lightly fill a panty liner. I thought it could be IB.

I had light, but steady bleeding all day, enough to require pad changes (but much lighter than any period I've ever had). The bleeding was red, with a pinkish tinge at times and somewhat string like. But I figured it had to be AF, since IB is supposed to be on /off spotting.

By late evening, the bleeding stopped all together.

Never have I ever had a 2 day period, with a light flow such as this. It's always heavy flow lasting 5 days!
I took hpt, and its negative.

I had a lot of cramping along with the bleeding. I seldom cramp during my period. Other than that, I have flu like under the weather symptoms and body aches.

For the sake of FF charting, do I count the past two days as AF or not? My LP is about 14 days.
Is there a chance I could be pregnant? When should I test to get a reliable answer? The bfns are saddening, but I don't want to rule out pregnancy, if this isn't AF.

Temps are currently unreliable owing to restless sleeping.
Would love your thoughts!

It is not unusual for AF to change and become lighter when swaying pink. We don't know why but it's happened to lots of us, myself included. I think this is AF and should be counted as such.

Ok thanks. It's more of only spotting and less bleeding. But I've had an unusually long cycle and currently down with fever, chills and aches. Maybe it's the flu causing all these out of the normal symptoms.
I'm hoping next cycle is smooth!

Remember that whatever happens with AF tells you only about LAST month, not next! So it may be light since last month was unusual, and then next month will hopefully be a lot more predictable.

I got my daughter the month after the lightest period I have ever had!

hope you're feeling better soon.
