Hi Atomic and everyone here.
I think nobody from my country knows GD forum, but I do. )) and very happy that found you, I read you for 2-3 months instead of books))
I am 30 and I am a mother of 2 girls. Also DH has 2 girls from his ex wife.
So, 4 girls, and we really want to have a baby boy.
I stopped all the pink friendly habits like skipping the breakfast, eating low calorie food, coke, sweets. Also, I never had dinners in my life. Maybe only on some special occasions. And now I am really confused, as I don’t know what to eat for dinner and before bed. Don’t want to eat too much carbs at evening, because I already gained about 10 pounds for 3 months and this months I started HE diet and don’t want to gain more.

For breakfast I usually eat oatmeal with yougurt and fruits, or milk with granola. Now very hungry in the morning.
Two hours later I eat some fruits like cherries, apples, banana, blueberries.

My lunch is meat with some carbs an vegetable. Two hours later some nuts or fruits and I don’t know what to eat in the evening? Is it is to have vegetables and eggs? Or meat with vegetables? Without carbs.

When I conceived my girls I was about 125 pounds, and now I am 143 (((
Also I have Daily one multivitamins, folic acid, omega3, potassium, DH also takes multivitamins which Atomic advised here, Omega3, Arginin, Carnitin. But he smokes cigars. Can’t do anything with him.

Do you have any advices or comments on my sway?
Any information would be useful for me and I ll be very grateful.

Many thanks

Hi and welcome!

When you're gaining weight very quickly it's best to cut back on carbs first. Keep eating the protein foods like dairy, meat, eggs, but cut back on things like granola, oatmeal, and fruit. This will help you keep from gaining any more weight.

Protein + carbs does make boys but it takes a lot less carbs than most people think. So by having meat and veg with just a small amount of carbs you can still have your blood sugar go up and will be more likely to have a boy. You don't want to go super low carb (so no keto or Atkins) but it is ok for you to cut back on carbs overall and focus more on protein foods.

Are you exercising??? Exercising will help turn some of those calories you are eating into muscle, and that also helps sway blue.

So to give an example of what I would change I'd do more like this:

Breakfast: I'd have JUST the yogurt and fruit. Skip the oats and granola, they are pretty carby

Snack: I'd switch out the fruit for something like cheese or nuts or hard boiled egg

Lunch: What to eat depends on what carb you're eating...if you're eating meat and bread or potato and vegetable then just cut out the bread or potato (but be sure you're not eating a super low carb vegetable, or are getting a small amount of carbs from somewhere like sauces) OR you can simply eat a smaller serving of your carb food.

Snack: I'd do the same as with your earlier snack, have some cheese or nuts or eggs. Even if you can't fit in the carbs with the snacks, it's still ok as long as you're eating regularly, your blood sugar should not go down very low.

Dinner: I'd have meat or eggs plus vegetables, plus a very small amount of some kind of carb...in a sauce, or have a carbier vegetable like sweet potato or beetroot.

Everything else is looking good...if hubby won't stop smoking, then we just focus on what we CAN change instead of worrying about what we can't.

Sending you tons of blue dust!

Thanks a lot, Atomic. Now everything is clear for me!
Yes I began my exercises 5 times a week, I had 2 months vacation and missed them.

Usually I don’t eat bread and much potato, but after reading that potatoes are good for boy sway, I eat them when I want))
Carbs for lunch are usually Brown rice, bulgur, potatoes.

The main question for me was if I can eat more carbs, and you said yes, it is perfect) thank you a lot.

I will inform you about my news

Potatoes are not so bad, it's when people think they need to eat meat and potato and bread and fruit juice and vegetables and 10 other things at every meal that weight comes on!!

I would try to get back into the swing of exercise again, that will help your sway and the weight gain. :)

Hello Atomic
May I ask you? Can this folic acid delay my ovulation? Something delayed it, no idea what is it.

From supplements I take only
folic acid
Women’s one a day
Omega 3
Probiotic

Thanks in advance for answer https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180728/99b9f21f2f498e21caba45e6ca195df0.png

It's not something I have had reported to me.

Are you taking anything else even something like green tea??? I would cut back on green tea if you're drinking that.

No, I don’t drink green tea. Ok, so I will continue my supplements and gonna wait for ovulation.

Thank you

Gaining too much weight can also delay ovulation. So let's keep doing what we already discussed and cut back on carbs overall - fruit juice, dry fruit, starchy fruit like bananas, bread/pasta, to a lesser extent potatoes - and see if that helps.
